We recently sold our house through Romans. We had been interested in selling for several years, and Daniel had been incredibly patient in waiting for us to finally be ready! Daniel is incredibly knowledgeable about the market, and offered many suggestions for how to get the house ready for sale, what to price it at and why etc. We felt listened to and really trusted the advice given. Once on the market, Robbie and Amy were excellent at finding out all they could about the house before doing viewings for us. I really liked that only Robbie and Amy did viewings for us, having viewed many houses through other agents where the people showing us around obviously didn't know the house well at all. The team offered timely feedback and were sympathetic to working around our busy schedules. Once sold, Robbie kept us updated and informed along the whole (at times stressful through no fault of Romans) process. We have been speaking to him more than family members over the last few months, and he is always lovely to chat to! We never want to move again (!), but would highly highly recommend Romans' sales team to those that do. Thanks Daniel, Robbie and Amy!

I have dealt with Romans Lower Earley for several years to rent my property before selling it this spring. I have had excellent tenants thoroughly vetted and recommended by Romans and with very little vacant periods. They managed the letting in a very professional and efficient manner. I was given good advice about market conditions when I decided to sell and again Jacob handled the whole matter in excellent manner. Jacob and his colleagues were not pushy but keen to provide advice that was in my best interest. The sale progressed very smoothly with Jacob and his team dealing with all issues. I am more than happy to give 5 * review to Romans team.

We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out.
Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs.
The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference.
That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way.
After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

I understand the property market is extremely congested at the moment, but my experience with this agency went beyond what can reasonably be explained by high demand.
There was a clear lack of transparency throughout the process. Communication was poor, information about the property’s status was unclear, and I was never given a fair opportunity to view the property. No clear explanation was provided as to why viewings were handled the way they were.
While competition is expected, basic professionalism, ethical conduct, and open communication should still apply.
Unfortunately, this experience felt neither transparent nor equitable, and it has left me questioning the agency’s standards.
I hope the agency reflects on this feedback and improves how prospective clients are treated going forward.
