I decided to sign up with Romans having not been able to sell my flat after 11 months on the market with another agency. Matthew Leigh was very effective at getting my place on the market and sold, managing to find me a buyer within just a few weeks, at a price that was £2k higher than the asking price. Hannah Rawlings was my move manager for the rest of the process, and again she was very effective at communicating with me and liaising with all of the parties to bring about a successful exchange of contracts. Thank you to them and to the whole team for helping to make my move happen!

From our first call back regarding a potential property to rent with Romans, we spoke to Jake Matschy who provided the most professional and friendly service, and was more than happy to answer all of the many questions we had throughout the process! Every step of the way from initial enquiries, property viewing, the tenancy reference process and finally signing our tenancy agreement, Jake was incredibly helpful in explaining what to expect and in getting back to us promptly to answer our queries. We couldn't have received a more professional, friendly and genuinely helpful service during such a nerve-wracking - albeit exciting - time! Jake made this a truly positive experience for us by keeping us in the loop throughout the process and has been by far the most responsive professional we have spoken to in our many months of making queries - Jake is a credit to the Romans team!

Jack and the team at Romans have been amazing! The communication, professionalism, the speed of the whole process has been incredible. Jack came out to value my property, take the photos and market it. Not only was he spot on with the valuation, beautiful photos but also worked incredibly hard to get my property sold within 3 weeks AND at full asking price! I would giggly recommend Jack and the team at Romans. Hopefully I don’t need to sell again anytime soon but if I do…I’ll be going straight back to them. Thank you Jack and Team ??

Romans of Basingstoke. I have been dealing with Nicola, Jonty and Phillipa on the letting side and can only say they have been excellent in dealing with my property, I'm sure it will continue. I would also like to thank Lucas on the sales side he has also been very helpful in advising etc.

We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out.
Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs.
The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference.
That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way.
After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

At the end of a long tenancy, as a landlord with Romans, I had many things to sort out for the fist time. Romans guided me through the process efficiently and were always available when I needed them. In particular Kaitlyn and Ben who are a credit to Romans.
