I honestly can’t thank Trudy and Greg at Winkworth Reading enough for everything they did during the sale of my house. Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, but Trudy in particular went above and beyond to keep the process moving and, quite frankly, kept me sane throughout it all.
She was proactive, persistent, reassuring and always kept me updated. When things became tense towards exchange and completion, she was constantly chasing solicitors, brokers and buyers to make sure everything stayed on track. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her.
Greg was also fantastic behind the scenes and incredibly helpful whenever things needed sorting quickly. Together they made a brilliant team.
What really stood out was the genuine care and humour they brought to the process — they made a very stressful experience feel manageable and human. I always felt supported and knew they were fighting my corner.
If you’re selling in Reading, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Winkworth Reading team.

We had a relatively smooth experience buying our new home through Winkworth and found the team, led by Isla in our case, to be very helpful, always responsive and kind. They approach you as human beings buying a home rather than numbers or commission which is very different to our previous experience. Brian was the agent for the seller of a flat we bought. He was of course motivated to act in the best interests of the seller, but he was professional, polite, detail oriented and diligent in dealing with our questions and concerns in a timely manner. He’s a good communicator. Our solicitor was not. He was able to reassure, educate and guide us through the unfamiliar process. He was always helpful and diplomatic which we much appreciated in the high stress of buying a home.
