Both myself and my husband have always found Statons staff ethos and work ethics honest and open. Our house was recently sold by Statons very quickly given its size and cost. Adam who handled our sale was very professional throughout. We would like to thank Adam for a smooth sale matching us with the right buyer and we would definitely recommend Statons services.

13th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)We are super pleased with the service we have always received from Home Counties Estate Agents Ltd, especially with Richard with whom we have worked with now on several occasions. We first used Home Counties back in 2019 when we were purchasing our first home in Potters Bar. Richard kept us informed throughout the process, was always accommodating with multiple visits to the property, and supported us throughout the whole process. We recently engaged Richard again as we wanted our house re-valued under current market conditions. Again, Richard was extremely accommodating, visiting us at short notice, and promptly giving us a valuation. We have built trust in our relationship with Richard and Home Counties, who we feel are genuine and honest in their approach to helping their clients buy/sell homes. It can be a stressful process moving/selling, but having an experienced, well established, and honest team working for you is invaluable. We have, and will continue to recommend them to our friends & family as great estate agents. Thank you Richard and the team at Home Counties Estate Agents.
2nd Dec 2022 (1 year ago)Sandy Gorton handled the renting of the property and was superb from the word 'go'. He had people round, he chased up to see how interested they were and if they weren;t, why not. His communication with me was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and, quite honestly, he was like a Knight in shining armour. It did not take him long to find us a tenant and we are very grateful for his hard work, perseverance and charm.
19th Aug 2020 (3 years ago)As estate agents go, these lot are by far the worst. It took several weeks to receive our deposit back (due to emails being ignored by them) where they attempted to charge us extortionate prices for, at the very best, minor issues. It was only due to my friend and I standing our ground, that they eventually gave in. Still, the end result was not satisfactory but it was better than when we first started our dispute with them so if they do try to bully you, do not accept it! We had multiple issues such as broken doors, chairs, boiler issues that took weeks/months to sort out. It required me to chase them constantly and they had the cheek to say they never received my emails. If you are a STUDENT BEWARE! The fact both my friend and I were both students, they saw it as an opportunity to squeeze money out of us which I expect they will deny as always. Honestly, the worst company I have dealt with and urge anyone to avoid using their service. USELESS!

A first class service from start to finish. Always contactable with regular communication throughout the sale very competitive rates. I used their suggested conveyance service (by Premier Property Lawyers) which was also very efficient and professional.
