25th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)moved out 25 days ago, still haven't got the 9k deposit back! no communication, they have been getting quotes for 20 days for a screw hole in the wall!

6th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)We had a few viewings from them, there was an offer put in for the house mid December 2023. Client had over £200k of deposit. They pushed us to get solicitor etc buyer was ready to go. We did that at start of January 2024.We heard nothing, no even mention of Survey, until we pushed on 05/03/24,there was NO response. then the agent said they were arranging survey, under valued house by £100k, valued at standard 3 bed house. They got another survey arranged, this was then valued at £40k under. The Buyer should not have been allowed to view the property if they could NOT afford the property. I sent a message on 23/03/24 with drawing the property with them as they had wasted 4 months.. we had another offer from a different agent also in Dec but as we had accepted the offer from Scotts we went with them. Big mistake !!!

Jonny was excellent, he really knew who the buyers for my house would be and got lots of viewings very quickly. I ended up with three offers to choose from and Jonny guided me to choose a really good person to sell to… Rebecca was also great during the post sale process and helped maintain a really friendly relationship with the buyer all the way through to completion. 23rd Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Ivor has been a nightmare from the start. I would not advise anyone to use this estate agent. He ignores requests, has next to no customers, constantly pushes very aggressively to get a seller to drop and drop the price so he can earn commission quickly. He is very unprofessional and made many mistakes when listing that I had to inform him of time and again. My advice Avoid!

18th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.

Alex & David at Harpenden branch gave great advice throughout the sales process, from market valuation, all the way through to the agreed sale. Once the sale is agreed I got passed to a sales progressor which was Mandy at St Albans branch, she was super helpful with solicitors, the buyers, and progressing the sale. She was always available for any queries or communications. Thank you Mandy! I would recommend Bradford & Howley and would not hesitate to use them again. Many thanks to all the team!
