12th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We viewed a property with this agency but unfortunately had to chase several times for updates. Responses were very slow, with little information provided and overall the experience felt quite disinterested. We wouldn’t choose to look for a property through them again.
22nd Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)We completed two plumbing and heating jobs in February for Aubrey & Finn, and both invoices remain unpaid despite repeated reminders. This has been a disappointing experience.

Whilst the general service was okay from an agent level, now that I’m awaiting the legitimate refund of holding deposit I’m simply being ghosted by senior management. The agent was kind enough to acknowledge and respond to emails initially with the promise that someone would be in contact. Zero response from the company management has been received almost 1 month later, despite numerous requests. They’ve simply left junior colleagues to respond with ambiguous statements. If they were challenging the repayment I would understand a response to that effect, it’s the lack of response that is most concerning.

She was consistently communicative, keeping us fully updated at every stage and always quick to respond to any queries. What really stood out was how proactive she was — Louise genuinely drove things forward, liaising with all parties and making sure nothing slipped. It honestly felt like she took full ownership of the process and pushed it all the way to exchange. A real credit to the team and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!

13th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently dealt with Cassidy & Tate in St Albans (specifically Lucie) during the purchase process for a property. We submitted three offers, all of which were ultimately rejected, which in itself is not the issue. The concern is the communication style and overall handling of the sales process. After our viewing, I was the one who followed up to express our interest in making an offer, rather than receiving any proactive follow-up call. From that point onwards, communication was conducted entirely via email with no telephone contact at any stage. On multiple occasions, we asked whether our position could be communicated directly to the vendors by phone, particularly as we are first-time buyers with no chain and the property required significant renovations. However, we were told that communication with the vendors was also being handled via email rather than direct telephone discussion. Even when we increased our offer and specifically requested that our position be verbally communicated to the vendors to help properly present our circumstances, we continued to receive email responses confirming rejection, without any direct conversation taking place. Overall, the process felt very passive in terms of sales approach and negotiation. In our experience, there was no telephone-based engagement or active selling of our position to the vendors, which is something we would typically expect from an estate agent acting in a sales capacity. While we appreciate that offers are not always accepted, we were disappointed with the lack of proactive communication and the absence of any real attempt to progress negotiations beyond email exchanges. We will actively try to avoid purchasing a future property through Cassidy & Tate going forward.

Caroline helped my sister and I get our new apartment in West London and we couldn’t be happier - a very smooth process, a user-friendly app for paperwork purposes and above all, a lovely lady who went above and beyond to guide us through the whole transaction. From initial suggestion to view the property by the Harpenden branch Manager Gary, to viewing and sales progression supported by Emma Wheeler who was fabulous. Excellent customer care but a definite focus on this agency acting for the vendor, which was also reassuring to witness.
