27th Feb 2024 (7 weeks ago)- 168999 stars. Lying on the ad saying availablr immediately, agent not coming for the viewing, scaming for 'holding deposit' money for 4 walls window and door alredy occupied with squaters, lying in the face, money gone bye bye, no response by 'move in date'. Thanks.

2nd Dec 2022 (1 year ago)Sandy Gorton handled the renting of the property and was superb from the word 'go'. He had people round, he chased up to see how interested they were and if they weren;t, why not. His communication with me was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and, quite honestly, he was like a Knight in shining armour. It did not take him long to find us a tenant and we are very grateful for his hard work, perseverance and charm.

26th Mar 2024 (24 days ago)I have bought two properties through Mather Estates, and the lettings side of the business manage one of my properties. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. Everything is seamless with them and they tick all the correct legal boxes. As a landlord, I have peace of mind with no aggravation. Emilee in particular stands out as someone who is motivated and on top of every situation. A pleasure to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend Mather Estates as they are very professional and down to earth. The service is of a very high standard indeed. No nonsense and no gimmicks. A well deserved five stars from me.

They made my renting journey so easy, India was my first contact and she gave me 101% attention and support and Charlotte did beautifully well too and because of them both, in less than a week I have my accomodation. Thank you guys, you make life so easy.

15th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)This is a public announcement to those trying to get a property through Maddison Fox. Stay well clear of this Lettings agency! Shanon Davis the lettings co-ordinator of Maddison fox Loughton branch is very unprofessional and collusive and preys on vulnerable individuals for financial gains. I was initially pressured by Jamie Chappell into paying 6 months rent in advance to secure my “spot” or I will lose my holding deposit, which made no sense as I was eligible to rent on a monthly basis. The communication was very one sided from the pair of them, as they only contacted me when they felt like and did not return any calls/emails when I was trying to reach them. I was given the complete run around during the process of moving in and trying to vacate the premises. Originally I was suppose to move in at the end of October 2023, however they delayed my move in date by an additional 2 weeks, which left me out of pocket as I had to call in the removal team and call off work. Now that I am trying to vacate the premises she is trying to coerce me into extending the lease for another 6 months, even though I have given her 2 months notice before the 6 month break clause which is stated on my contract. She is also is trying to make me responsible to find her a new tenant, which I find hilarious because isn’t that their job? I know I am well within in my rights in my contract. This is just a friendly public announcement to avoid dealing with Shannon and Jamie as they both seem to have hidden agendas and financially motivated interests. This has been nothing but a horrible experience and I would not want anyone else to experience what I have!
