Nothing was ever a problem and everything dealt with in a very friendly and pleasant manner. I was kept up to date on the sale process of the property at all times. I would definitely choose them again and recommend to family and friends. A very big thank you.

20th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.

"oh, we had one viewer at the weekend, think he's going to make an offer, don't think you'll be able to view it - we'll let you know". They really said this! I'm glad I'm not the Vendor.

David and his team were exceptional from start to finish and would like to say a big thank you for not only selling our property but also finding us the house we needed to hopefully get our eldest into Simon Balle Secondary School! 3rd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I had my dads house on the market with another estate agent for several months with very little pogress.<br>I decided to change to Leabrooks and the change was amazing even from the first meeting. Andrew was so much more dynamic and positive, and very honest which was refreshing.<br>The whole Team kept us updated at every stage, and if there were problems outside there remit they knew someone that could, and did help.<br>There was also a clear strategy if the house wasn't attracting interest, which definatly worked in our case.<br>Could not recommend Leabrooks highly enough

18th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

They recently managed the sale of my late mother’s property in what has been a difficult market, with great professionalism and commitment. They were very pleasant to deal with and communication was good throughout the process. The fact that we eventually achieved a sum well over the asking price was an added bonus!

From the very beginning, their onboarding service was incredibly straightforward and hassle-free.What really stood out to me was their communication. They use WhatsApp to provide regular updates, which made the whole process seamless. Because they are so quick to respond, I always felt kept in the loop. They even replied to my messages after hours when my busy workday meant I forgot to reach out during standard office hours.The entire team is lovely, honest, helpful, and absolute pleasure to deal with. The service I have received has been outstanding and I am impressed with the “due diligence” they have undertaken. Giving the changing legislation affecting landlords, I feel confident that IW Estates will ensure compliance with the law. I also expect that my tenants will have confidence that issues arising with the property they are renting will be dealt with in a timely manner. My point of contact is Ellie Smith and she has been outstanding in terms of advising me, creating new tenancy agreements and meeting my tenants. I know that she is supported by others in IW Estates and my thanks go to them as well as to Ellie. In summary, in my view, a highly professional Company who do everything “by the book” and deserve to do well in the highly competitive lettings business.
