I decided to sell with them for this reason, and also because they did not immediately start trying to sell me financial products, which I always find off-putting. Vanessa McCallum Estates obviously care very much about the community they serve, and they worked hard to find a lovely family to buy my property. A friendly and professional service throughout. I wish the team every success as they totally deserve it.
1st May 2026 (6 days ago)I recently bought a property in St Albans through Ashtons. The service and attention to detail I received was exceptional. From my original contact everyone that was involved in my purchase were professional and very knowledgeable. The initial viewings were very impressive with the agent well briefed on the properties. They also listened to my wish list and found properties that fitted my brief. They were very flexible with appointments and arranged second viewings seamlessly. Once I was prepared to make an offer Ryan in the St Albans handled the initial stage. He was professional, friendly and was always available to answer any of my queries. The purchase was then handed to Hannah in the Harpenden office and again the service she provided was second to none. It made the experience very straightforward and actually quite enjoyable! If you’re considering buying a property in St Albans I cannot recommend Ashtons highly enough. Exceptional service, amazing staff and the best Estate Agent I’ve ever dealt with. Thank you….I love my new home!!

Luckily for us, O & A introduced us to our now forever home which made communication seamless and quick so we couldn’t be happier with the process and how things panned out. They didnt shy away from any questions and were reassuring when things got stressful. Thanks guys!

From the outset, Duncan moved quickly to get the property listed, organising photography and even helping arrange the EPC, which made a big difference in getting everything live without delay. The listing was handled brilliantly, and within just two weeks we had two strong offers. What really stood out was Duncan’s communication. He was always incredibly responsive, proactive and never made any question feel like a chore. After every viewing, he provided clear updates, which gave us real confidence and kept us fully informed at each stage. He also went above and beyond in practical ways, such as letting the surveyor in when we couldn’t be there, which really helped keep things moving smoothly during a busy period. On top of all that, Duncan is personable, considerate and clearly takes pride in doing a great job for his clients. We dealt solely with him throughout and thanks to his efforts, the whole process felt far more straightforward than it could have been. We couldn’t recommend Duncan and Cassidy & Tate more highly.

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. They have guided us expertly through finding tenants and advising us on realistic rental income. Further, they have a team of honest and reliable trades people to help resolve any issues and as a team are extremely well informed, helpful and friendly. On the sales side, they sold a property for us very quickly and recommended solicitors making the whole process stress free and painless. It is the best agency in Harpenden.
1st May 2026 (6 days ago)I used William H Brown to sell my home 2026. I was very impressed with the service they provided. Daniel dealt with the initial stages of the sale. I found him very helpful, communicative, friendly and very professional, with the assistance of Finley they both provided a service that was exceptional. In addition to this, David the branch manager was also amazing. All together the service we received during what can be a very stressful time, made the whole process much more bearable, and relatively stress free. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. 5 stars to William H Brown St Albans, and 10 out of 10 for Daniel and David.
