The property was continuously let throughout that time; Savills always found excellent tenants and provided first-class support, including when a complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken. We were extremely impressed how both of them kept in touch regularly, always returned our calls, even making calls in the evening if necessary. They were thoughtful, professional and gave us really useful advice throughout the process, particularly when it came to assessing the different offers we received.<br><br>They were also excellent at communicating with the buyers and keeping everything moving, which made the whole process much easier for us. On top of that, we were very happy with the rate they offered us.<br><br>A really good experience from start to finish, and we’d happily recommend Grant and the team.
6th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)I have used Your Move several times over the years as they find suitable tenants quite quickly, while doing a good job suggesting fair market rents and vetting prospects.<br><br>Staff are friendly and competent. During my recent change of tenancy, Tia has been prompt in dealing with issues and very helpful putting me in touch with workmen for refurbishment.<br><br>Head office could be a bit quicker to process paperwork, but all fine when they do.

As first-time buyers, we really appreciated how supportive and approachable they were throughout the entire process.<br><br>They were always easy to get hold of, quick to respond, and more than happy to talk through any questions we had, no matter how small. They even invited us to their office for a more detailed chat, taking the time to walk us through everything and make sure we felt comfortable at each stage.<br><br>What really stood out was how proactive they were in keeping things progressing smoothly, while also ensuring everything was handled efficiently and with care.<br><br>Overall, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

She went above and beyond to offer maximum support within every feasible boundary to help us out.<br>Fantastic experience—highly recommended!
11th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We booked a viewing with Jo and we arrived 15minutes early. Waited 45 minutes in total. Called them from the start multiple times about their estimated eta. Always said back coming soon. No correspondence from them about lateness. They never showed up or told us to reschedule. Extremely disappointing. Never experienced this with any letting agency ever. Could not be trusted as reliable.
11th Aug 2026 (2 days ago)We had a viewing booked for 4:30pm in St Albans. I travelled all the way from East London specifically for the appointment, only to receive a phone call when I was just a few minutes away saying it had to be cancelled because they couldn't find the keys.<br><br>Mistakes happen, but this should have been identified well before the appointment rather than after prospective tenants had already travelled.<br><br>What disappointed me most was the lack of any meaningful apology or attempt to offer an alternative property or solution. The whole experience wasted almost half a day of my time and an unnecessary return journey.<br><br>Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the agency's organisation and professionalism.<br><br>edit : there's no reply button, i edit this message instead to reply frost's reply. the booking was under my flatmate's name, and I dont want to share it here. but the date was 1st Aug, instead of last Sat. and i have attached the first message my friend got it from Frost with this review. i need to correct though, it's 35mins before the viewing. but it doesn't change much, as i am reaching St Albans station at the moment, as it will take a 15-20mins walk from the station.- 22nd Jul 2026 (22 days ago)Shaun was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish throughout the purchase of our first home. 8th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)On numerous occasions I have returned their calls. They in return say they will call back ? So I call back, next time they are still at lunch 2pm. They promise to pass on that I am trying to return their calls. Nothing happens ?<br>They have very poor communication skills both with landlords and renters. I am just in the middle, and seldom hear back.<br>In the end for years ( 16 ) to be precise I have put up with freezing cold winds coming through my bathroom window, and they promised to speak to the landlord, over and over again. It was not before I held some of my rent money back I got a reaction, and 6 months later on, I eventually got a new window. Now I am fight for the next ones.<br>Meanwhile rent goes up. Maybe we have a public tribunal on our hands ? Out of the three different estates agents, this property has been rented out by, Leaders are the worse by far.

Paul, Barney and Mandy worked on our sale and they were fantastic at keeping us constantly updated, and were a pleasure to work with. Really lovely team all round!

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

Every time we visited one of their properties, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Once we found the perfect home, everything moved quickly and smoothly. The very same week our offer was accepted, they created a WhatsApp group to guide us through the process and keep us updated every step of the way. We were never left wondering what was happening next or waiting for information. From offer to completion took just three months, and when we collected the keys, they were waiting for us with a thoughtful goody bag and personalised cupcakes, which was such a lovely touch. Heartwood Homes is run by kind, hardworking people who truly care about their clients. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel exciting and enjoyable, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to help us buy our first home. It is now 13 July 2026 — more than 6 weeks later — and I still have not received my deposit back.<br><br>I paid rent on time, every month throughout my tenancy, left the property in good condition, and have done everything required of me. I have emailed repeatedly, called both Hemel Hempstead and Watford branches many times, and yesterday spoke to Jamie who promised a manager/director would call back — nothing has happened.<br><br>This is not just bad service — it is unreasonable and illegal under UK tenancy rules. Deposits should be returned promptly when there is no dispute. It feels like my money is being held deliberately for no good reason.<br><br>I am now claiming formal compensation and will escalate this to The Property Ombudsman and my deposit protection scheme. Do not rent through this company if you want your money back when you move out — they will drag their feet and ignore you.
