No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.

23rd Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)We had our first appointment with Andrew from countrywide mortgage services at Entwistle Green, Bolton back in May. We were warmly welcomed by Bridget to begin with. Our whole experience with the branch has been just brilliant and we cannot fault them. Andrew, our mortgage adviser, had been incredible, Bridget arranged to show us around the house at short notice and went out of her way. Chris, the branch manager, kept us updated and chased things up for us, as did Hayley before leaving. Matthew was also fantastic on the viewings we had with him and was really informative. We completed on our house purchase yesterday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Entwistle Green, Bolton.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

A 10 out of 10 service. I recently purchased a property and they were the estate agents who were selling it. They went out of their way to help myself, keeping in regular contact with both me and my solicitor helping in anyway possible. I can highly recommend them.
