Michelle and Karen sold our house in days - they gave so much advise, feedback and were sensitive to how emotional selling a home could be. Chloe and Cassidy were absolute powerhouses in getting everything over the line in time and always keeping us up to date. We viewed houses with other estate agents, and honestly the level of skill, quality and care did not even come close to Karen, Michelle and the team. All round the sale was smooth and straightforward and this agency was great to work with. Lovely staff, great comms and seem like they really care.
29th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)My son has recently agreed on a rental property via Entwistle Green.......<br><br>Considering the amount of rent he is to pay, on receipt of the keys it was clear that this flat had not been cleaned ready for the new tenant. In fact it was absolutely filthy and utterly disgusting.<br><br>So disgusting in fact that it eas decided to get professional cleaners in.<br><br>What a disappointment.

Our sale didn’t go without its problems but Jamie, Zoe and Helen were always supportive and all correspondence was replied to immediately or at least asap.<br>The team are very grounded and professional and you have confidence that they’re doing all the necessary administrative and diplomatic work on your behalf in the background to get the sale through the line.<br>The very personable approach the whole team have is very comforting and it made you feel that they genuinely cared. We spoke and messaged Helen a lot !!!! She remained very patient and professional and knew she wanted the best outcome for us.<br>We would highly recommend them all in a heartbeat.

29th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Balmer & Co and would not recommend them based on my experience as a tenant.<br><br>While I was living at the property, part of the kitchen ceiling collapsed. Despite the seriousness of the issue, I was left living with the damaged ceiling for around three months before it was finally repaired. During that time, I repeatedly tried to get the issue resolved, but my communications were often ignored and the overall level of service was extremely poor.<br><br>The problems continued at the end of my tenancy. Balmer & Co claimed that there were marks and scratches on the walls and sought deductions from my deposit. However, I had video evidence showing that those marks were already there before my tenancy.<br><br>The most concerning part of my experience happened when I went to their Atherton office to ask for an explanation about the DPS deposit request. I handed my phone to Rachel so she could look at the DPS request and explain to me what was happening. Instead of simply explaining it to me, she pressed the “Accept” option on my phone.<br><br>I had not handed her my phone to accept the request on my behalf. I gave it to her so she could look at it and explain the situation to me. Once the request had been accepted, I was no longer able to dispute the deductions through the normal DPS process.<br><br>I later contacted DPS about what had happened, but by that point the request had already been accepted.<br><br>Overall, my experience was extremely poor: around three months living with a damaged kitchen ceiling, repeated lack of communication, disputed claims about the condition of the property despite me having video evidence, and finally the way the DPS request was accepted on my phone when I had only asked for an explanation.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would strongly advise tenants to keep photographs and videos of the property from the beginning of the tenancy, keep all communication in writing, and never hand over control of their DPS account or phone when discussing a deposit dispute

27th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)We can't thank the team at Harrison Estate Agents enough for everything they did to help us sell our home.<br><br>From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. I phoned at around 9am to ask about putting our house on the market. By 12 noon, Olly was at our home measuring up, taking photographs and talking us through the process. By 5.10pm that same day, Seth had our property professionally marketed and live online. That level of responsiveness really set the tone for everything that followed.<br><br>Ours wasn't a straightforward sale. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale became a five-month journey, involving multiple specialist inspections, legal complexities, last-minute price negotiations and plenty of challenges along the way<br><br>Throughout it all, Lynne was exceptional. She was honest, approachable and incredibly proactive, constantly keeping everyone updated, chasing solicitors and other parties, offering sound advice and, most importantly, doing everything she could to keep the chain together when it would have been very easy for it to collapse.<br><br>What really stood out was that this wasn't just one great estate agent – it was a genuinely great team. Olly, Lynne and Seth worked seamlessly together, each picking things up at exactly the right time and always making us feel that we were their priority. Communication was excellent throughout, and we always knew where things stood.<br><br>Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but Harrison Estate Agents remained professional, supportive and committed from start to finish. We genuinely felt they cared about achieving the right outcome for everyone involved, rather than simply getting the sale over the line.<br><br>We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harrison Estate Agents to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.<br><br>Thank you, Lynne, Olly, Seth - the whole team.
