Selling a house with young children is never easy viewings need to be scheduled in advance and it’s a constant battle clearing the Lego and Barbie’s! Back up team were great and I was kept informed of viewings at all times. Couldn't ask for any more. Property went to best offers after 7 views in under a week.
23rd Jul 2024 (4 days ago)We have just exchanged on our house purchase as first-time buyers with Boardwalk. We felt slightly unsure about the process at the beginning as we didn't have much communication from Boardwalk. However, we were then told Alicja would be taking over our purchase as a sales progressor and she really made our experience 5*. She has been fantastic, super proactive, friendly, and genuinely invested in our purchase. She got everyone moving whenever there was a standstill and would always keep us fully updated. We couldn't recommend her enough, thank you so much Alicja!
13th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Macey came out to our property in February to give us a valuation. We were unsure whether we wanted to renew our mortgage in August or sell. Macey was absolutely incredible. So kind and attentive, she made us really proud of the home we had created and the work we had done to it. She did her research before coming to see us, looking at old photo’s of the property and houses that were sold in the area similar to ours. She had a pack prepared and went through it all in detail. No question we had was too much trouble. Honestly, she was just incredible. After the visit we were not bombarded with phone calls or emails which was so refreshing. It’s nice to find an estate agents that aren’t just after your money constantly and see you as human beings. When we decide to sell our home in the future we will 100% be back to this team to help us. Thank you.

They answered all my queries in good time, catered to me as I was moving from 150 miles away by allowing me to view virtually and even gave me a moving in box with goodies which was greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your help, I am loving my new place. Can’t recommend enough

19th Jul 2024 (8 days ago)The worst letting agent we have ever dealt with. Incompetent, disrespectful of people’s time and belongings as well as their personal data, which they willingly share with their contractors without prior asking for permission. Great at downplaying all the issues and same goes for their in house complaint process, clearly have a hard time admitting fault. Condescending and patronising whenever issues are brought up and then surprised we stopped bothering reporting anything (those things mentioned were never addressed). Kate at lettings acts like she owns the place, the one time I had to do an inspection with her she would start touching my belongings without asking, I had to physically remove myself from the property for any future inspections to avoid her causing me another anxiety attack. If it wasn’t brought up at the end of our tenancy, where she „apologised”, she wouldn’t have done otherwise as she lacks any self awareness. Mary, who reviewed the complaint did her best to undermine my concerns and the general response was „it wasn’t that bad, you could have moved out earlier”. Appalling attitude. What is mentioned in the review is just a tip of the iceberg, as they will probably try and respond in a selective way :)

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)Chase Buchanan are a new business but not new to the industry, we first met with Alex and set expectations, Alex was honest and realistic with no boring sales talk. We marketed the house and then Michelle took over on viewings, Michelle sold the house within two vieiwngs and less then 4 days for full asking price. Some houses in our area with other estate agents have been on the market months, with reductions in asking. Alex, Michele and the team at chase Buchanan are excellent, won’t take them long to become the number one estate agents in downend.
