They drew up excellent brochure with good photos, regularly made it a featured property on websites, and dealt with all the viewings (there were many) in my absence but kept me fully informed with helpful feedback.
24th Jul 2024 (3 days ago)Valuation was spot on with the final sale price. They worked with the buyer to bring them up to this, compared to first offer. Could have been more proactive in driving the completion, once offer had been accepted and searches completed on both sides. We had to push a little on this, but they managed the process well, when nudged.

8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)Some of the agents on the phone are extremely passive-aggressive and not helpful at all, they wouldn't even let me finish a sentence and would just jump straight in with their British passive-aggressiveness. I understand that in the UK it's apparently ok to act like that but I thought Cambridge is an international city...

They told us less than 24 hours before we were due to move in that the house wasn't ready, making us homeless. 3 days before that, they guaranteed the house would be ready and that we could move in. Mostly the idiot landlord's fault, but they could have checked rather than making promises they couldn't possible keep. Not sure how this is allowed with no consequences in this day and age Very disappointing. No stars, but Google insist on putting something.

30th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)I have been a tenant in a property managed by Vincent Shaw for nearly five years, and in my experience they stand head-and-shoulders above other Letting Agencies I have dealt with in Cambridge. Vincent Shaw have always been highly responsive, friendly, and both generous and responsible in their interactions with us as tenants. Staff at Vincent Shaw really bring a 'human' touch to their interactions with tenants, being willing to listen carefully, to understand one's situation, and to come to the best solution for both tenant and landlord.

The sales literature was excellent - particularly the photography - and quickly attracted several genuine enquiries. Our main contact, David, recommended a Property Solicitor who was also excellent, and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company!

Dan is extremely driven, unlike other Estate agents. What really impressed me was you can get hold of Dan pretty much 24-7 again unlike other Estate agents. I am a professional who is extremely busy and working long hours so difficult to take calls throughout the day but with Dan he will email and call you evenings and weekends which is exceptional and no others do this! Dan is very responsive and clearly has a passion to help and make a stressful time easier. I can’t tell you how many times I have been let down not replied to or ignored by other agents, it’s quite shocking! I would highly recommend Dan as I was so happy with his enthusiasm and passion for his work! I wish him all the very best!
