19th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)I have interacted with a lot of Estate/Letting Agents in Cardiff and Moginie James have been brilliant. They have been really good at responding quickly to enquiries, really helpful with lots of information and regularly check in to keep me up to date. All the properties are very well managed and they have excellent information and advice about the Residency Scheme and Tenant Liability Insurance. I was shown around by Zac in the Pontcanna office who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and really made an effort to give me as much information about the property as possible.

We bought our first home with them and they have kept us updated throughout the whole process especially Imogen who was on the case from start to finish :) They were amazing and I would definitely recommend them! ????

From the initial referencing and checks, through to moving in I cannot give them enough credit. Unlike any other letting agents I've ever dealt with. Friendly, professional and quick responses any time we've contacted, would highly recommend.

I spoke to David same day in the morning saying give me 24hrs I will provide mortgage in principal. Same day evening time received call from David seller declined offer. 2nd Apr 2024 (28 days ago)We had our house valued by Charles because we wanted to buy ourselves out of the Help to Buy scheme. It was valued at £415,000. Our neighbour's house, which is exactly the same, has just gone on the market for £395,000. I'm not sure why our house was valued at £20,000 more than the neighbour's; it's the same house but 10ft to the left. I mentioned at the time that it seemed like an overvaluation. We obviously have to pay 20% of the valuation to repay the Help to Buy, so we were disappointed and still think £415,000 is a high valuation for our property compared to others on our estate.

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.
