Obviously, I’m yet to get my final settlement deposit refund, due to Pro-estates staff and the landlord still not deciding when to sort this out.
Firstly, I got into this apartment late last year, prior to my viewing with my friend husband we found a TV and a Microwave inside, and when asked cos I had one at my previous house, we were told the previous tenant left it behind and that If eventually I moved in I could have it as wasn’t part of the property.
So when I got the email notification that I was the lucky one to get the flat, I asked again and clearly told I can have it. I lived there for a year and now informed it was ending my tenancy agreement, so I moved out everything as my friend and her husband actually helped me as I was very ill this period.
So then, after 2 weeks my deposit hasn’t been returned and now I’m struggling and the new Landlord who has taken over has informed the agent I needed to return the TV and microwave.
I have informed, it wasn’t part of the property as told earlier during my viewing and when I moved in.
I have contacted my friend husband who was present and I have also requested for a face to face appointment as it appears they trying to deny and make me look it was stolen. I have contacted Luke and explained but still when I call it’s either they not wanting to put him on the call or promised to call me back till now, as still not responded to my email.
I want this to be escalated to any authority and I will bring in a witnessed, as this appears to be a false alarm on me and holding my deposit.
NB: Also, prior to my move in the carpet was changed and not properly hovered, I have left the flat in good condition as I found it, the humidity meter I left back, was taken by my friend as she helped to do the final move as I was in the hospital as she thought it was a private letter.
I have confirmed in writing that I can provide this, as I had to asked my friend who said she saw an envelope in my name.
Lastly, the house was left in same condition and I want to escalate the aspect of the landlord and agents accusing me of taking the TV and microwave which they initially and clearly stated that it was left behind from the previous tenant and that I have it when moving out.
Proestate is evil, with poor managerial skills, false and misleading information, delay in responses from complaints.
I’m lucky I wasn’t alone on that said day, I have a witness and If you ever DEDUCT my DEPOSIT or don’t REFUND me FULLY, I promise you that the outcome of this issues will be TOUGH.
Stop misleading clients with false information, stop claiming what wasn’t true from the onset. I NEED MY FULL REFUND AND MY FULL REFUND ONLY, book a face to face appointment and I will bring in my witness, stop making me look like a liar. The TV and microwave wasn’t part of the property as informed initially and you all gave me CONSENT from the onset to have it when moving out.
Stop the deceit, stop the false accusations, stop now. You holding my deposit for way too long now.... Read more
