2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Just want to say a big big big thank you to these guys and especially Luke! Who went over and beyond for the sale of my freehold home. Luke handled everything from viewings, to tips, to the marketing and on going communication. Luke is a real people’s person who’s professional but approachable always. Luke was able to get me more for my property than rival agents valued it at and it was a smooth interaction throughout. Very grateful and happy, would recommend the agency and Luke to anyone thinking to buy/sell in the area. I’ve sold and purchased properties before and this was my best experience. Thank you.
24th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! There is no way I could praise the team at Chattertons, particularly Doug, any higher and have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation.

Having not met each member of the team face to face, every time we called with a query, no mater who we spoke to they seemed to know which stage we were at and we're able to answer any questions with a good knowledge of our situation. The biggest compliment would be around the communication which was always very proactive from the whole team throughout the viewing and progression process. Using a group messaging function meant that I could easily ask questions and answer any questions from prospective buyers. I felt kept in the loop at all times. I would certainly use again in the future and recommend to friends.

Selling my house hasn’t been the easiest journey, with a few difficult and uncertain times along the way and a few tears, but the team were always there to guide me, reassure me and keep everything moving forward and never gave up. Holly has been quick and efficient to get everything sorted and she has done smoothly without any issues, I’m amazed it only took 2 days from visiting the property to having all of the paper work done and I got to chose what date would work best for me to move in.
