26th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)* Poor Communication and Unnecessary Delays<br>* My Worst Experience with a Letting Agent<br>* Great at Winning Business, Poor at Delivering It!<br><br>My experience with Accor Letting Agents was extremely disappointing and, to be honest, very stressful.<br><br>The process took around five months, during which calls and emails regularly went unanswered. The initial marketing of my property was poor, with an inaccurate description and the main photograph showing the rear entrance to the block rather than the front-facing apartment overlooking the park – the property’s biggest selling point. I ended up rewriting the description myself and supplying better photographs, making the balcony view the main image.<br><br>Once instructed, communication became very slow. What was presented as “another week” repeatedly turned into another month, leaving me feeling strung along. There appeared to be very little internal communication between staff, and I often had to chase for updates. Ironically, the only prompt contact I received was when additional fees or payments were required.<br><br>They were excellent at pitching for my business, but the service that followed fell well below my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not use them again and cannot recommend

As a couple just starting on our house buying journey, it was great to have someone who was approachable, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with.<br><br>He was happy to have a conversation and didn’t make us feel rushed or under any pressure. Toby made what could have been a nerve-wracking first viewing into a really positive and enjoyable experience. We'd happily recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and personable estate agent.

We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. From the very beginning, Lorraine and nick and the whole team were friendly, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout what was a long and sometimes stressful process.<br><br>As first-time buyers and both being self-employed, there were definitely challenges along the way, but Lorraine always kept us updated, answered our questions, and was so reassuring whenever we needed it. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.<br><br>Today we finally got the keys to our first home, and we’re so grateful for all the hard work, patience, and kindness shown to us throughout. Viewed a property to rent and made an offer on the same day. He was very welcoming and friendly gave us all the information we need and took time to answer any questions and we didn’t feel rushed at all. The process was really smooth and easy and he even called to congratulate me for the offer being accepted. Very professional and smart, looking forward to be working with the guys at acorn I feel they will take good care. Thank you Robert
27th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)Our experience with this estate agent was extremely disappointing. We found Arun to be unprofessional and lacking in transparency throughout the process. Communication was poor, and we were left feeling misled and unfairly treated. Overall, we have no confidence in the way our purchase was handled and would not recommend this estate agent based on our experience.<br>This was by far the worst estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. I found the whole process lacking in transparency. I was also concerned that the AML checks were carried out through a company connected to the agent’s wife, without this being made clear upfront. Charging £300 each ( most estate agents charge £36). When we questioned this it was brought down to £150. They also wanted us to pay a deposit. The contract was not clear if we would get back.<br><br>The most upsetting part was that, while we were in the property viewing it again, we later discovered it had been sold to another buyer for just £3,000 more. We felt completely misled and extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this estate agent.
17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)The experience of finding the flat and securing the contract was great! Shemya was super responsive and answered all my questions. She helped fast?track things so I could move in before a big trip, which was very much appreciated. Because of the rush, though, when I moved in the flat still had unwanted furniture and was dirty (which wasn’t the agency’s fault, but due to a non?compliant previous tenant). That said, they were very responsive and quickly arranged for someone to remove the furniture, allowing me to move in just a couple of hours later. Would give five stars, but I’ve currently been waiting over three weeks for a faulty dripping tap to be fixed with no response so far, so still waiting to see how the management side actually is. Will update this review accordingly in the coming weeks/months.<br><br>EDIT: The lack of response was because my emails were going to junk mailbox! Going up to 5 stars as Roberta has been amazing, super responsive to all my issues and concerns and everything that needs repair has been sorted. Thank you!
24th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)When we first rented out our property through this agency two years ago, everything went smoothly, so I never expected to be writing a review like this.<br><br>After one of our tenants moved out, we requested an updated tenancy agreement. The landlord approved the change, and we were told that a new agreement would be prepared. More than three weeks later, we are still waiting.<br><br>I have contacted the agency several times by email and phone and have also left voicemail messages. On one occasion, I received a callback and was told that a response to my email was being prepared, but nothing ever arrived. Since then, there has been complete silence.<br><br>I understand that administrative work can take time, but ignoring clients for weeks without any update is simply unacceptable. A quick email or phone call would have been enough to explain the delay.<br><br>It's very disappointing to see such a significant decline in communication and customer service. Based on our recent experience, I can no longer recommend this agency.
