Adam, Ella and their team add a personal touch and great professionalism to the difficult and emotional process of selling your home. The whole team was very communicative, fair and pleasant to deal with all the way through the process, from valuing our property to after-sales service. We got to know them through our neighour's recomendation and we would only use them again and I can whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone with a property to sell.

The costs were clearly communicated from the outset which wasn’t the case with some other agencies we contacted. Communication was excellent and they handled all negotiations well. We were kept well informed as the sale progressed. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

9th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Pleased with the service from Paul Copeland and his staff. Even phoning a vier on a Sunday and contacting me to confirm they were attending. They brought lots of viewers through the door. were the previous Estate Agent failed.
2nd Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)Very impressed with time keeping and overall process. The only small issue was that I asked for no FOR SALE board on the property. One appeared. I asked for it to be removed. After a few days it was taken away, but leaving rawl plugs in the stone wall near the front door.

They kept up to date throughout the whole process, Any queries I needed they didn't hesitate to answer them Any concerns I had they raised them. Most of all they listened to me ranting and asking questions as I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I will be forever grateful. Thanks to each and everyone of use keep up the good work.

28th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)We sold our house last year through your move darlington and were delighted with the service and support we received every step of the way. Due to a change of circumstances during the sale we were also looking for a property to rent and as we were so happy with everyone we had already dealt we decided to use them for our rental. The sales and lettings department worked fantastically together and managed to keep the sale of our house going and found us an excellent rental property. I have spoken with Andrea in maintenance on a number of occasions and no matter whether its a small problem or something bigger she is always happy to help, has jobs organised and carried out to a high standard and in a very reasonable time frame. Her communication is excellent and thorough in all cases.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
24th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)We switched to Ryan James after a very slow start with another agency, who unfortunately we felt were lacking motivation. In less than 1 week with Ryan James, the house has been sold! Absolutely amazing! We could not be more thrilled with Ryan, Gill and Lauren! They have been outstanding, communicative, honest and reliable. Their recommendations for conveyancing and mortgage services have also been great and we are so happy to now be moving forward. Can not fault them - I only wish we instructed them sooner! Best agent in the local area.
17th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! THEY APPLY EXTRA COMPLETION CHARGES WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU NOTHING WAS MENTIONED ON LEGAL PACKS MY SOLICITORS CHECKED ALL THIS WHEN IT CAME CLOSE TO COMPLETION I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL £10,165. SCAMMING COMPANY AVVOID
