From the advert going online to the completion of the sale, the entire process took just six weeks (with an offer being secured in just a matter of a few days!). I was amazed at how smoothly everything went. Highly impressive service!

5th May 2024 (18 weeks ago)I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.
15th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Had 3 offers within the 2 weeks. Proper checks not done . Lost one offer , the offer I did except buyer didn’t even have a mortgage in principal! I was told the dad was buying the flat for his daughter. Half the money other half on mortgage! None of this was true

From my initial contact with Paul Wilkinson to the completion phone call from Donna Holliday - they really couldn’t have done any better. Donna, in particular, was absolutely fantastic, reassuring me throughout the process and doing everything she possibly could have to ensure things went smoothly. I would have no reservation in using them again and would highly recommend this jewel of an estate agent to anyone.

30th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Attended a viewing of a flat with my daughter in the hopes of getting her first home. We dealt with John, who was extremely helpful and a great character. John was very friendly and gave me daughter helpful advice about moving in to her own home. We are very happy and excited for her to be starting out on this new adventure and will hopefully have the keys to the flat this week. A very prompt service from 247 property.

13th Nov 2023 (9 mo. ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

Our property sold at a closing date one week after going on the market. We were delighted with the price we got for it. I’d happily use Lesley again if we were to move again.
5th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
