The team have always kept us in the loop regarding the property, promptly dealt with any arising issues, and have guided us through every stage of the process. They have also been great at fielding questions and providing tailored advice.

Selling a house with young children is never easy viewings need to be scheduled in advance and it’s a constant battle clearing the Lego and Barbie’s! Sharon and her team have been superb in prioritising our needs and requests. Communication has been superb with regular updates, advice and feedback and they have all gone above and beyond with any questions/query's we’ve raised. I highly recommend Sharon and her team at Connells and Thanks Again for all your help.

Right from meeting Andrew and Sarah both clearly acknowledged the process for moving house and what fees were involved as well as recommending solicitors to us. At all times we felt at ease and if any questions ever arose they were met with promptness and professionalism every time! The house was photographed and looked stunning in the brochure and online which led to a sale pretty much as soon as it went live! The process from selling to completion was swift and a positive experience from start to finish! We can’t thank Hamptons enough for their care and attention throughout the sale of house.

3rd Jun 2024 (15 weeks ago)Valued to high at start even though I said to lower from start then after a short while was told should lower, then another agent said lower again not knowing it had been recently. Seemed no one was talking with each other. Felt very unprofessional and I had no confidence. No one took ownership of sale felt once had house on there books wasn’t interested. Agents always arrived at the time of viewing and viewers waiting, one was late and I had to talk things through whilst viewer waited outside on drive as agent knew nothing about house asked me questions like would I take an offer, etc.. things he should have known. When I have had a moan about various things the agents have ran down there own agents, very unprofessional I felt I was doing the viewing, after I had been told Ben was doing the viewing a person who I actually trusted and built an understanding sent someone else (who was awful ) as Ben was taking on another property again the feeling that once house was on books didn’t really matte just a numbers game. Now I have excepted an offer 5-6 weeks ago have received no correspondence what so ever I keep chasing only getting back a few updated emails which I find have the vibe that I’m annoying them. I understand these things can take a while but in 5 weeks at least a contract of sale should be received, last time I sold it with another agent the contract of sale, surveyor etc had been round within 2 weeks I could go on and believe me I’m not normally one to complain but this experience has been quite painful

From the first management of the bidding process to the handover of the keys on completion Tom’s was a calm and reassuring voice. We are confident that he served the Vendors well but from the moment our offer was accepted we felt he was on our side too. The very few issues were smoothly managed. A personal touch throughout.

Not only is their expertise and knowledge of the property market second to none but they are incredibly well connected and willing to help with everything else that comes with buying a house. Whether you need finance, insurance or a surveyor the team really are able to offer the full package!

13th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Macey came out to our property in February to give us a valuation. We were unsure whether we wanted to renew our mortgage in August or sell. Macey was absolutely incredible. So kind and attentive, she made us really proud of the home we had created and the work we had done to it. She did her research before coming to see us, looking at old photo’s of the property and houses that were sold in the area similar to ours. She had a pack prepared and went through it all in detail. No question we had was too much trouble. Honestly, she was just incredible. After the visit we were not bombarded with phone calls or emails which was so refreshing. It’s nice to find an estate agents that aren’t just after your money constantly and see you as human beings. When we decide to sell our home in the future we will 100% be back to this team to help us. Thank you.
20th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I inquired once about a property through Rightmove and have since been subjected to relentless emails (initially phone calls too) that I did not consent to receive. The most recent was for the sale of a garage, so there really is no screening process; they sign you up to a spam mailing list without your agreement and refuse to remove you when you ask. I have emailed Sarah Cunningham on four separate occasions asking for my data to be deleted in line with data protection laws, which have all been ignored. As a result of this unprofessional behaviour, all inquiries will be directed to local agencies who take GDPR seriously.- 2nd May 2024 (20 weeks ago)Very helpful when first enquiring about the property.

Incompetent, disrespectful of people’s time and belongings as well as their personal data, which they willingly share with their contractors without prior asking for permission. Great at downplaying all the issues and same goes for their in house complaint process, clearly have a hard time admitting fault. Condescending and patronising whenever issues are brought up and then surprised we stopped bothering reporting anything (those things mentioned were never addressed). Kate at lettings acts like she owns the place, the one time I had to do an inspection with her she would start touching my belongings without asking, I had to physically remove myself from the property for any future inspections to avoid her causing me another anxiety attack. If it wasn’t brought up at the end of our tenancy, where she „apologised”, she wouldn’t have done otherwise as she lacks any self awareness. Mary, who reviewed the complaint did her best to undermine my concerns and the general response was „it wasn’t that bad, you could have moved out earlier”. Appalling attitude. What is mentioned in the review is just a tip of the iceberg, as they will probably try and respond in a selective way :)

We mainly dealt with Jamie who has gone completely above and beyond in all aspects for us. The communication has been great, and from start to finish they made the process easy. Jamie even came to assist us on moving in day when we had issues turning the water on. Everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend them for selling and purchasing

31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Liz, Stephen and Paul were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble but a special mention and thanks to Liz who helped in rehoming our chickens which really was above and beyond! We never intend moving again but if we do, we will be back! :)
