14th Jun 2025 (28 days ago)We had an extremely arduous journey to exchange with a lot of 11th hour dramas and a school place in jeopardy. Through it all Sarah Parry was absolutely brilliant, she kept us informed the whole way through and worked with all sides to get things over the line. Whilst it was still extremely stressful I dread to think how much worse it would have been without Sarah’s support. Our intention is for this purchase to be our last, however if that ever changes it’s Sarah that I’d be calling without a moments hesitation.- 17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Selling a property is rarely straightforward but with Hamptons it always felt we were with a safe pair of hands. They have fantastic local knowledge, gave excellent advice and were always up to speed. Guy and his team really went the extra mile to get the sale over the line. Thank you!
19th Jul 2024 (11 mo. ago)Gloucestershire Property On-line were very professional in putting together the initial marketing but when first sale fell through, advertising could have been directed more appropriately. Soon after eventual buyers were found, GPO sold to The Property Centre who could have been a bit more assertive in pursuing mortgage broker on behalf of buyer. Also, we had to chase for updates more than we felt we should. Otherwise, happy with the service

Throughout James and Jennifer were really helpful dealing with our queries, and on the initial viewing where we had some challenges getting there on time due to a road closure James went out of his way to organise a viewing an hour later. A really professional local agent and well worth registering with and following on social media to get previews of properties coming to market. Callum Jones dealt with matters and was always available to discuss matters. He and Richard Murray gave us good, clear considered advice at every point of the transaction and liaised with the buyers at key points to ensure matters went smoothly. They also have excellent local knowledge and produced a very impressive sale package. The whole team is highly professional, pleasant to deal with and my sister and I felt able to trust them to produce the right result. We would highly recommend them.

Raph took care of me through the whole process and was very supportive through some conveyancing complications. Having dealt with a lot of local agents while viewing properties, Murray’s from first contact felt the most professional & attentive. I instantly felt in safe hands and was very happy they had the property I ended up going for ! Which is no surprise as they always represent the most gorgeous properties in the area. Thanks Murray’s , would 100% recommend and will return when it comes to moving on without a doubt.

Whilst we only used the team for our purchase and not sale, they were extremely helpful and were on the ball 100%, in chasing the chain and keeping me up to date with the whole process. 5th Jun 2025 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling customer service. I was discussing a rental property a few months back with the branch manager, who turned out to be totally unhelpful. As I went on to be open and offer my feedback to them, they became verbally aggressive. Trying to evade this confrontation, I’ve put the phone down, to which they’ve sent me an aggressive email. I have been renting for a number of years from a handful of landlords, I’ve never experienced any issues, and certainly I have never come across anything like this. I’ve just been through some of their other reviews and it turns out they accuse everyone of being aggressive who dares to give them a negative feedback, so I won’t be surprised if I get the same. Edit: Well I’m sorry that you perceive any negative feedback as aggressive and inappropriate. “Property search can be stressful”: sure it can to an incompetent person like you. “Never have I had to ban someone before”: well having skimmed through some of your reviews it seems it could be a regular thing to you. “Regular habit of giving bad reviews to letting agents”: two reviews are hardly a regular habit - not only you don’t have the capability to act professionally, but also you can’t even count to two.

Jane has been incredibly communicative and has gone back and forth with us multiple times (always responding within an hour or so) to help us sort out finer details of paperwork, which without her help we wouldn't have got sorted. Emily has been just as communicative as well, was really informative during our viewing, and has always made time to meet and speak with us at a time that suits. We're grateful to be renting through Perry Bishop!

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. 7th May 2025 (9 weeks ago)Horrible experience with the agent. Everything started really well when Ophelia and Tanya were still working there, but after they left, and especially after Tom Smith started managing our building, our life became unbearable. Constant damp in the property. In 2 years that we have been living at Flat 4, 121-123 Albion Street, they fixed only 1 wall and 2 other walls nobody even touched. And when contractors were mixing cement/plaster in our bedroom, they left some of the mix on the wall. And guess who's fault was it? Winkworth ( particularly Tom Smith) charged us £40 for cleaning. Tom wasn't really bothered to notify us when contractors were coming. Imagine you are in bed because you have a really high temperature and a strange man come into your flat. Or quite often we were coming from work and everything was covered in dust because they were doing something without even notifying us ( of we knew about it we be able to at least cover our clothes and move some furniture out). If you are unlucky enough that your dream property is listed with Winkworth, try to speak with Tom Mayfield. He is the best of them and quite knowledgeable.

They are efficient, have excellent communication and work to fully understand each person’s needs. They work hard all the way through the process to tackle the inevitable bumps in the road that occur in buying and selling but always finding a solution.
11th Jul 2025 (1 day ago)We have just sold our house through Hunter French in Tetbury. From start to finish they have been great to work with - highly professional, proactive and extremely lovely. They marketed our house effectively, and suggested a realistic and achievable asking price, meaning we found good buyers quickly. They have also been excellent at keeping us informed on progress as our sale progressed. We would highly recommend Hunter French to anyone considering selling their house in the area.
