26th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Since the last two months I have been marketing with Carringtons only three viewers view the place and nothing happened as the results and I have reduced the price twice still nothing happened . I am going to change them or add another estate agent to get involved .

6th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)The team at Toomey looked after one of my properties (rental) and helped with the sale of the same property after a few years. It means I got to work with Laura (and Kim) on the rental side and with Frank during the sales process. Suffice to say the entire team are consummate professionals who provide a very unique and custom service all round. Having moved the property from a larger franchise estate agent, the service provided by the team at Toomey was by far better and value for money. Laura and Kim oft go over and beyond what they're supposed to do and on numerous occasions helped solve some pretty tricky issues. The sales process was equally professional and friendly with Frank demonstrating good knowledge of the housing market in the area & an uncanny ability to match buyers and sellers effectively. His commitment to both buyer and seller is unparalleled and he remained engaged throughout a very tricky sale. It's a bitter sweet moment that our contractual relationship with this team has come to an end. I unreservedly recommend the team at Toomey and wish them all the best for the future.

He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

31st Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)The chap who we first saw seemed very straightforward and easy to deal with. He didn't seem to be trying to impress us particularly, just being straightforward. He was probably in his forties and had been in the trade for quite a while and was the owner of the Seymours franchise which we thought was a good sign. He was never pushy throughout the process and his team members were of the same ilk. Straightforward, easy to talk to and helpful. Once the house went on the market they got a lot of viewings in in a short time, so they were obviously good at attracting potential buyers. Oh, and I was offered 1% commission + VAT without even have to negotiate. This was important, but the overall feel of Seymours was more important. Communication was generally good, it was easy to talk to someone when I needed to.
3rd Aug 2022 (1 year ago)We don’t typically do much in terms of service reviews but in the case of Harry Williams at Robert Holmes we will make an exception. Harry was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout, without trying to push us into a property to hit sales targets he instead got to know our situation and worked with us to find the perfect property. What we expected to be a stressful experience was pretty painless - and that makes a change for anyone moving home!! Cheers !

They gave us fantastic guidance at every step of the process from getting our house ready to market through to accepting an offer. Victoria has been very flexible with viewings that fit in around us and has been excellent at keeping us up to date at every stage, including immediate feedback straight after viewings. They are passionate about New Malden and I believe offer potential buyers a great service too thorough their knowledge of all this area has to offer.

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
