A special mention goes to Sean, the incredibly talented photographer, and Rory Murray, my dedicated Sales Consultant. Rory was always just a call or email away when I needed him, and his professionalism and expertise truly stood out. He kept me thoroughly updated throughout the entire selling process and offered fantastic advice every step of the way. Rory is a real credit to MOV8, and I’ll genuinely miss our interactions. Highly recommend!

15th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????

21st Nov 2024 (17 weeks ago)We had quite a few estate agents out to the house for a valuation but from the minute Scott entered our house and we began to discuss the house and valuation we felt he was honest, approachable and most of all being the sellers of our much loved house he listened. At no time did we feel pressure or an obligation to secure him as our agent. May I also add that when contacting the Glenrothes branch and speaking to the rest of the team they also were very approachable and no amount of questions were to much. I cannot rate Slater, Hogg and Howison highly enough.

Nothing was too much trouble. We also used there solicitors fir our sale & the purchase of our new property. We would definitely use Thorntons again & highly recommend. Thank you to everyone who helped us

20th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Absolutely pathetic service. We we lied to from the onset. Rod wouldn't get back for up to a month at a time. Carried out useless work for over inflated prices without permission. Incidentally nothing materialaliaed with anything that he said he had done. Sorry excuse of an Estate Agent and I would keep away real nightmare of a man. He would phone up every 3 to 4 months and say how much did you pay for your property originally and did this for years.
6th Feb 2023 (2 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back
18th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)Office staff were not impressive and office hours seemed to vary a lot . Not impressed . Didn’t feel they proactively pushed our property even though the property we were buying was also marketed by them . ( double fees)
12th Jan 2025 (10 weeks ago)For health reasons we decided to sell our property and search for a more suited bungalow type and in doing this I came into contact with April Sterling at FFH. As a result of that initial discussion we decided to commence the selling process with FFH. We had not been involved in the property market for 40 years so we were feeling slightly apprehensive. This feeling didn't last for long. From the initial valuation visit with Allan England right through the marketing process and on to the sale of our property we were given all the guidance and assurance we needed from Joanne and her very experienced team. Our visits to the FFH team were always refreshing and each and everyone of them, particularly Stacey, pulled out all the stops to ensure that our house sale was going to be a positive and stress free experience for us. They succeeded. We would certainly recommend FFH.
13th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)A poorly organised business. I called twice in the space of 7 days to try arrange a valuation. No one bothered to call back. Clearly too busy for my custom. Opted to use Graham Sibbald instead, call back within an hour and booked in.
18th Nov 2024 (17 weeks ago)If you would like your property grossly under valued with a poor sale's team. Or even a valuation that isn't worth the paper it's written on. I highly recommend using DM hall. Disastrous experience in both selling and valuing 2 seperate property's.
