From start to finish, she was absolutely fantastic — her communication was always clear and reassuring, and she never left us in the dark. What really stood out was how dedicated she was to finding the information we needed, often going above and beyond to get answers quickly. It genuinely felt like she cared about us and our situation, and having her support made a stressful process so much easier given how much of a nightmare our chain was. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you again!

Katie has been supportive and compassionate in times of needing repairs or help. Katie has excellent communication skills, professionalism, very responsive and thoughtful. Repairs have been completed swiftly. Very happy :-)
22nd Feb 2025 (5 weeks ago)After listing our property with a well known “online” agency with the word Purple in its name the difference when listing with Bridgfords was night and day! Full of knowledge of the local market, second to none communications and just a general feeling that everyone cared about us has firmly set Bridgfords apart from its competition! When Emma came to appraise our property, she turned up already armed with multiple suggestions on how to sell our property from the wording of our advert to the images we use for the listing - no one else from the other 3 major agents in the area compared! We were sold! It wasn’t just Emma who excelled in our opinion, Richard was pivotal in getting our offer up to the value of what we wanted when it wasn’t looking like we were going to sell our property. Dealing with Katie over the phone has been brilliant, she’s super cheerful and really helpful and gets the job done every time. Fay, though, has stood out for us and I doubt you’ll find a better communicator in the business. Absolutely on the ball all the time and shared our frustrations when we had no shows but celebrated with us when we had interest, absolute credit to Bridgfords!! We had a viewing and the person viewing our property was explaining to me that he was having issues with his agent I had no issues in instantly recommending Bridgfords to him and would without hesitation recommend them to anyone who asks for my opinion!
1st Feb 2025 (8 weeks ago)Bought our house with Manning Stainton and they couldn’t have given us a better experience, they really helped to move the sale along when things started to slow down. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly and Tori especially was brilliant at chasing the solicitors and communicating back and forth stopped the whole sale from falling apart. 13th Dec 2024 (15 weeks ago)I can not begint to recommend these guys enough. Tom and George and the whole team have worked so hard to sell our house quickly and they have succeeded! They gave us the best advice, have been super approachable, made us laugh when we had a few difficulties and communicated with us very regularly. They even chased up solicitors for us ensuring everything was done quickly and efficiently. If I could stay in yeadon I'd be buying a house through them! I cannot thank them enough, what an incredible team of people.
14th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

As a first time buyer the whole process felt quite daunting however Georgina kept me informed throughout the entire process and did this all the way up until completion. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
19th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Just completed on a property purchase in Ilkley and can’t thank Dale Edison enough for their determination to get the sale over the line. My case was long and complicated mostly due to my own circumstances but Molly was always so patient, considerate and efficient in moving us forward with each step and keeping everyone updated. At some point she was the only person who was responding to my emails and kept me in the loop with what was happening during the long and quite daunting process. Really felt very well cared for through the process and was nice to have a thoughtful and reassuring person on the other side to guide me. Huge thanks Molly and all.

So good at customer care and, frankly, he leaves all other estate agents I have worked with, for dead! I am a pedant and he too likes detail....ensuring that the job is always done right. Would I recommend him? Absolutely. Great guy.

From start to finish, their team provided a seamless and stress-free experience. Rebecca and Samantha were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. They took the time to really understand our needs and what stood out most was the level of communication – I was always kept informed and felt completely supported throughout the process. Whether it was a quick phone call to provide updates or answering my many questions, they were always approachable and helpful. Thankyou so much to everyone there!
31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

She handled everything, even down to perfecting photos to showcase the properties at their best. Her advice and guidance throughout were invaluable. An absolute credit to her profession – thank you, Katie, for all your hard work!

12th Mar 2025 (14 days ago)Absolutely superb estate agents ! I have rented from Open house now for a year and in that time they have been incredible. Tom, jack and dom (along with the rest of the team) are some of the most genuine people working in this business that I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet ! Not only do they make you feel comfortable but they are completely trustworthy and transparent. They will always be honest and helpful. While being with them I have realised there is no problem for them, any issue is dealt with efficiently and to the greatest standards (no cowboys or shortcuts) I look forward to continuing to rent from them in the present and buying from them in the future. An incredible team !

Her willingness to help through the mire of legal paperwork is reassuring and of comfort to know that she is working with you. Never did she fail to respond to messages or phone calls and will be asking Ornella to now sell our own house such is the confidence I have in her to 'get the job done.'
5th Feb 2025 (7 weeks ago)I've used a few estate agents in my time, most good and some not so good. However Andrew and Erin at Enfields wharfdale are a refreshing change for the better. They are proffesional, courteous and prompt in replying to questions and returning calls etc. They have recently completed a property sale for me and i couldnt be happier. I will/would be happy use them again and will recommend them to anyone i know needing an estate agent. If you want your house sold asap then give these guys a try. Thanks again to Andrew, Erin and the team at Enfields Wharfdale for great service. Matt Payne.
13th Mar 2025 (13 days ago)Shankland Barraclough supported and advised us from the valuation visit to the day of the completion, nothing was too much trouble and on many occasions they went above and beyond in order to keep things as smooth and stress free as possible. Selling your home and moving to a new one is very stressful but having a team like this on your side makes all the difference. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell.
