9th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)My company purchased a property from Kirkham's last month and dealt with Jay Williams, Michelle Wriggly and other members of the team throughout. The whole process from start to finish was professional & seamless. The team were always there to help if needed and provided regular updates without the need for any prompting. My sale was agreed and completed within the month, as requested. We would have no hesitation using Kirkham's again in the future, in fact we look forward to it!
4th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Just drove 30 miles through traffic to get to meet them as arranged for 5 30 ,my wife drove not quiet as far around 22 miles got there bang on time to meet my wife at the property waited till 5 55 got a text off Lydia to see if I'm still attending the viewing I texted back to say I've been hear since 5 30 as you arranged don't no were to park my wife as had a argument with a resident as we was in her parking space (not a great start ) but there was no one to meet us there to tell us anything anyway it got to just after six and I tried the buzzer on 31 the loom and the guy there was renting and said no one had rang him to arrange a viewing and the place was a bit of a mess so I would have to go back to mai son has
2nd Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Lovely landlord. However have spoken and gas engineer out. Keep telling me the same. The unit flicks on for 5 minutes and then off. It never did in my 3 years at this lovely property that I like to call home. Heating and water still crazy. Gutter at front is leaking. Which o can see is causing brick rot. The gutter is leaking that much onto the paving it’s going up the wall. Will be an expensive job for lanlord. From me asking as it bangs on the front windows. No one can sleep if they come over. I personally think who is this company. They won’t fix the gutters after asking for 10 months. Sad thing is. Green mould is growing up front walls. Hence when I leave. After months of asking. Mould on walls behind radiator and also the gutter will still need seeing to. So ashamed have paid so much to keep a lovely house

I can’t recommend them highly enough. We had no stress whatsoever as they did all the hard work for us. Many thanks ????????
15th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)The agency itself it's fine but I want to make everyone aware of a corrupt landlord Paul Ginty who made me homeless by accusing me of running an illegal massage business from the flat in Moston! This was just a few days after I've moved in, I refused him to come to the flat to do some random repairs I wasn't told about right at the beginning. I let him finish off what he meant to do at first but he kept coming up with other excuses to do other repairs which didn't need doing. He seemed very desperate to come in do them even though there wasn't any repairs left to do. I work as a counsellor from home over the phone and the tenant has a right to privacy. He's a dodgy landlord who believed he could take advantage of me because I was a young woman, so be aware. He sent me intimidating text messages saying he would just walk in, which upset me because I felt he could appear at any time as there was only 1 lock on the door and I didn't feel safe. He only gave me 1 days notice to leave, when by law its between 1 or 2 months. I was homeless for 3 months because of him, sleeping on sofas, having to put all my stuff into storage and going through more stress which I didn't need after seeing my dad dying of cancer few months earlier, I will not let anyone treat me like this, he's probably never been told NO by a woman and I believe this is what triggered him. He is a horrible and disgusting landlord and shouldn't be trusted.- 12th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)Amazing service! Highly recommend Jay and the team for any sale or purchase. 9th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)After meeting three agents I made the decision to go with Andrew Kelly & Associates because customer service was something Sam specifically mentioned was very much part of their ethos. Living 200 miles away that struck a note with me as in all other regards the agents were saying very much the same things. I was very impressed with the speed at which things were moving and the communication I received.

25th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)I recently sold my property with WeLocate and they were amazing. From my first meeting with Jamie who came to value my home and I decided there and then I would go with them due to his knowledge and professionalism. The photos he took were by far the best I've seen and his advice was invaluable. Everything was online so quickly and my first viewings were within two days. They assisted on the vast majority of the viewings too which was a huge help. I had numerous offers and I sold within no time. A very special thanks to Pauline who held my hand the whole way through to completion as I has not moved house in almost 32 years. She was so responsive and patient. Amazing service. Kate was excellent too who stepped in keeping me updated in Pauline's absence. I can't thank all of them enough.

30th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Initial valuation was good with an expert in local knowledge, however some of the viewing agents were unprofessional and when I complained Normie still sent the same agent for viewings. The first sale fell through and feedback from Normie was that they never had good communication with the buyers who rarely responded and only by email, then after 4 months they pulled out, we were not notified of this issue. I would still recommend them for lesser value properties, they have a big presence in the area and a high turnover of properties some of the employees are very good however we had invested in the person who valued it and they were not present for the viewings.
14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.

21st Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)James you are simply the best! Our sale fell through on 2 previous occasions and we took our house off the market for a short period. We came across James quite by accident. We were very impressed with the way he worked (the way we wanted our previous agent to work but wouldn’t) and we elected to use James even though we were well out of his area. The marketing James arranged was excellent and following the open day an offer was accepted. James personally did the viewings and 2nd viewings. James was available throughout the whole process by phone and whatsapp – keeping us updated throughout and even did the handover on completion. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer more helpful friendly person to guide us through this stressful time which was completed less than 12 weeks from selling. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending James Swithenbank to anyone selling their home. Thank you James
