30th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Exceptional service. As a landlord, I have rented my property through Jordan Fishwick for about 12 years. And not had any issues with tenants or the letting process. Unfortunately however, my last tenants were challenging. Their behaviours led to me needing to evict them. Sarah, was brilliant throughout the whole process. Her careful guidance as to legal requirements, to ensure any action taken was correct & proper, whilst maintaining regular communication with the tenants & the desired outcome was exceptional. I had every faith in her suggestions to follow the process. And she conducted herself with the ultimate professionalism & respect.<br>When you become a landlord you do question whether paying the monthly fees are worth it. In my case, Jordan Fishwick, Sarah and the team were worth every penny. Thank you for your support.

He is knowledgeable about the local area and the property market, and it is clear that he knows what he is doing. He listens to your concerns and always does his best to find the right solution.<br>John was great in communication and kept me informed every step of the way. He even answered my call while he was on sick leave. He liaised effectively with both solicitors and the buyer, and I always felt that my sale was in the right hands and that he was on top of everything.<br>Everyone had told me to expect a long and stressful process, but with John by my side, it was smooth, straightforward, and much quicker than I expected. I am extremely pleased with his service and would not hesitate to recommend him.

30th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

He was extremely polite, friendly, and professional throughout the viewing. He had a great attitude, was always smiling, and made us feel very welcome. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
25th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Very nice; the bedrooms. Slightly affordable and quiet. Kevin was perfect for the home tours, he kept revisiting pre viewed houses and prices for us, so we could make informed choices. Also he wasn't trying to pressurise nor force a property on us.

28th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Through out the year, general expectations of a letting agency were met. However, due to a couple instances, this rules out a good review.<br><br>One - they lied about attending a property when a fire risk was present, protecting their maintenance crew rather than admitting fault on their behalf. This was extremely concerning as all of our belongings including the house could have been destroyed!<br><br>Two - at the end of the tenancy, they charged their flat rate of £50 for a mattress clean for a tiny (1inchx1inch) brown mark, when the mattress was already measured by their own metric as ‘7’ meaning ‘minor marks or minor signs of wear and tear’. Then lied about the proceedings of the deposit return - stating that they would take all of the deposit if they did not accept our counter offer after three attempts via a 3rd party, causing our lead tenant to send a lower offer of £25, worried that they would take the whole deposit. However, this was a lie and this is not how the 3rd party operated, but it was too late to retrieve the offer once it has been accepted.<br>Additionally a mattress clean costs £50 or it doesn’t, the fact they even took our lower offer of £25 reveals they were just out for a quick cash grab, disgusting<br><br>All in all, MCR Move has a track record of a lying, do not go with them! Plenty of better agencies out there!

He managed to get me to move in and worked his absolute hardest for me to be able to move in when I needed to. Absolutely fantastic service and consider anyone else that he isn’t taking care of lucky! Genuinely one of the best services I have received. Thank you for making my process less stressful and helping so much!!<br><br>Had a viewing with Harris today and he was extremely helpful! Answered all my questions and was able to help me decide on the apartment that I wanted. Made the viewing fun as well so made me more interested in renting with X1!! Overall great experience<br><br>Had a viewing with Alana, she was fantastic!! Was able to answer all my questions and was extremely professional and patient with me when answering all my questions. 100% recommend !

3rd Aug 2026 (8 days ago)Hi everyone, I’m looking for help from landlords/property owners who may have dealt with Alphi Jacob Knight or Eric PVE Group in Manchester.<br><br>We handed our M1 apartment over to Alphi in July 2025 to manage a refurbishment and prepare the property for rental/ sale. I’m living away from Manchester and trusted them to manage the project and contractors on our behalf.<br>Unfortunately, almost a year later, the situation has become extremely difficult.<br>The property has been vacant for nearly 12 months. We have paid more than £40,000 in refurbishment-related costs, incurred over £3,000 in building management charges/fines following damage during the works, and lost a substantial amount of rental income.<br>D3 Group was introduced/appointed by Alphi to carry out the refurbishment, but when serious problems arose with the quality of work, delays and payments, we found ourselves caught between the different parties and there appeared to be significant disagreement over who was responsible.<br>Later, Eric/PVE became involved in managing/completing the remaining work. We paid approximately another £10,000 to PVE, but many of the issues we raised remained unresolved and we became increasingly concerned about the progress and quality of the work.<br>We have now terminated their involvement. They confirmed to us in writing that our keys and fobs would be returned, but we are still waiting for them – after 2 months.<br>We have kept extensive evidence, including emails, WhatsApp messages, invoices, payment records, photographs and records of the work and delays. We are now considering obtaining formal legal advice regarding recovery of our losses.<br>Has anyone here had experience with them, or a similar situation in Manchester?<br>I will report these to trading standards. But would appreciate recommendations for a solicitor experienced in property management/contractor disputes and advice on the best route for pursuing a substantial financial claim.<br>If anyone has dealt with the same companies and would prefer not to comment publicly, please feel free to message me privately.<br>Thank you — any advice would be greatly appreciated.
