My partner and I were forced to delete our initial reviews and our deposit was withheld until we complied.<br><br>Spend a few minutes here and read the horror stories of people being physically attacked and mentally abused. Turn away. I know it's hard to find a house, but this corrupt organisation is the embodiment of late-stage capitalist hell.<br><br>We were forced to live in an old, leaky, mouldy house. It got so bad that my only form of consolation were these reviews that made me realise that I'm not the only one dealing with this.<br><br>Your life's worst mistake. STAY AWAY. READ ALL THE REVIEWS HERE. The 5 star ones are fake.<br><br>P.s. I guess pronouncing your name in an anglicised way makes you think and act like a colonizer too, B'a'vna.

16th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)Absolutely terrible.<br>Turned up to the property without the keys to access the grounds, had to reschedule.<br>After viewing it i explained i was interested, looking at moving in as soon as but I was away for 2 weeks in 1 months time. Didn't hear off them, i had to contact them, got passed to someone else who started to deal with it. Again, I was chasing them with phone calls. 1 month later and not much had been sorted, I never once received an email off them confirming appointments or anything we discussed.<br>No urgency to follow things up, just a couple of phone calls off them to say we haven't spoken to the landlord.<br>Back off my holiday and they have let it to someone now.<br>Well done Hyde staff.....Absolutely useless, thanks for wasting my time.<br>Over a month and a half and you sorted nothing

The team was professional, friendly, and responsive, with excellent communication throughout. Everything was handled efficiently and made the process simple and stress-free. 23rd Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.
19th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Worked with Lois and Rebekah to deal with the sale of a relatives house from a distance. Lois was great when she came to value the house amd she was so kind and empathtic. All round the sale was smooth and straightforward and this agency was great to work with. Lovely staff, great comms and seem like they really care.
18th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)The worst experience. I was at a property with my family of 3 children. Then i hear the door ring. I answer one of their workers called "aron" pushed his way in the property and trespassed in the property that i rented. And started raising his voice and telling me to leave because i no longer can stay there, while my children were asleep. He kept on threatening me with the police and saying that i am not supposed to be there, all of this inside my house. After his threats he tried to get extra rent money if i wanted to stay. Then i called the other agent that i rented it from and had him talk to "Aron". Then it turned out that he didnt bother to get an update before trespassing and threatening me and scaring my whole family. He just left with out an apology. Then he had the audacity to call me again to see if he can score more money out of me and i refused. A couple of days after this incident he made his secretary call me to empty the property because the have viewing appointments to rent out the property. When i declined, people started knocking on my door at odd hours for viewing. Which made my stay a nightmare. I should have called my lawyers and the police on him day one. But because i was a tourist i didnt know the laws. But now i do. If anyone is looking for an agency. I would never recommend this agency because of their discrimination and threats and unprofessionalism. I give them negative five stars if i could.

Communication to us throughout was excellent and we were kept up to date with all developments, the cost of selling the property was very competitive and the price realised for the property was as estimated by them….. thank you Irlam Estates!

17th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I have recently bought a flat in Bexhill through New Foundations . I have mainly dealt with William. I have always found him incredibly helpful, always replies to my emails as well as telephone calls. It seems like nothing is too much trouble for him even when I was asking him to contact the vendor on several occasions regarding any issues I had in respect of the property. I also dealt with Nathan as well who is just as incredibly helpful. New Foundations are like a breath of fresh air for Estate Agents & so much better than any other estate agent that I’ve used over the years.

30th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

From the very beginning, she was extremely helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process of finding and moving into our new home.<br><br>Philippa was always responsive, supportive and genuinely caring. She made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward, and was always happy to answer our questions and help whenever we needed anything.<br><br>We are very happy with the property and really appreciate how welcoming, professional and trustworthy the team has been. 27th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)We can't thank the team at Harrison Estate Agents enough for everything they did to help us sell our home.<br><br>From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. I phoned at around 9am to ask about putting our house on the market. By 12 noon, Olly was at our home measuring up, taking photographs and talking us through the process. By 5.10pm that same day, Seth had our property professionally marketed and live online. That level of responsiveness really set the tone for everything that followed.<br><br>Ours wasn't a straightforward sale. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale became a five-month journey, involving multiple specialist inspections, legal complexities, last-minute price negotiations and plenty of challenges along the way<br><br>Throughout it all, Lynne was exceptional. She was honest, approachable and incredibly proactive, constantly keeping everyone updated, chasing solicitors and other parties, offering sound advice and, most importantly, doing everything she could to keep the chain together when it would have been very easy for it to collapse.<br><br>What really stood out was that this wasn't just one great estate agent – it was a genuinely great team. Olly, Lynne and Seth worked seamlessly together, each picking things up at exactly the right time and always making us feel that we were their priority.
