I was feeling very apprehensive about the process of having to move due to my personal circumstances and past experiences.<br>The entire process has been very straightforward. I expressed an interest in a property and was contacted immediately to arrange a same day viewing. I found Murray to be a really polite estate agent who made me feel at ease about the next steps. He was very empathetic to my situation and didn’t seem phased by me needing a guarantor - this is something I’ve found to be an obstacle in the past.<br>I’d been communicating with Lucy via email; who was also very polite. Lucy was very quick to respond to messages. She has kept me in the loop the entire process and this has kept my mind at ease.<br>The vetting process was very simple and effective; as we had a response the following day.<br>They appear to have a great relationship with both the client and the landlord and excel in communication. I look forward to our journey together. Thanks so much for your help.

The sale of my property was anything but simple and straight forward, but the team at Pearson Ferrier did everything they could to hurry the sale along. Polite, helpful, and answered all queries promptly. After dealing with lots of other estate agents in this process, Pearson Ferrier were a cut above the rest. 23rd Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.

28th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)I’ve been a tenant with Cousins for nearly five years, and I honestly have nothing but lovely feedback to give them. They’ve always been kind, understanding, and fair - not just to the landlord, who’s technically their primary client, but to us as tenants too.<br><br>Right from the start, the inventory process was handled fairly and thoroughly. And when it finally came time for us to move on, Cousins kept supporting us every step of the way, even though we were leaving. Whenever we called in a panic needing old documentation, they’d send it over instantly. When it came to showing the house to prospective tenants, they always worked around our schedule to make things as convenient as possible for us.<br><br>In nearly five years, there was never a single moment of friction. A special shout-out to our property manager, Kristina - you’re an absolute star, and I really hope our paths cross again!

She was always approachable, professional, and willing to help throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a property. Even after the sale was completed, she continued to offer advice and support whenever needed, demonstrating her genuine commitment to her clients.

30th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
16th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Our experience with your company has been extremely disappointing. The behaviour of Jack and Chris was rude, dismissive and demeaning. Their approach made it clear that they had little interest in cooperating with prospective buyers or communicating in a professional and respectful manner.<br><br>In addition, we found that some of your property listings did not accurately reflect the information being presented on the property platforms, creating unnecessary confusion and wasting our time.<br><br>As the agency that describes itself as the “number one estate agent in Manchester”, I would suggest that greater emphasis is placed on customer service and communication. Buyers and sellers alike deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, without passive-aggressive or dismissive interactions. Our experience fell well below the standard we would expect from a professional estate agency.

The team were professional, helpful, and always on hand to answer any queries I had throughout the process.<br><br>A special thank you to Nicki, whose personable and customer-focused communication made everything so much easier. She kept me updated in a timely manner, was approachable, and always happy to help. I really appreciated her excellent service and would highly recommend Keenan’s to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.
17th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
