1st Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)Alison Whitelegg, was my point of contact from the beginning of the rental process through to completion. I found her to be very prompt, professional and polite. She was able to answer any questions I had regarding the property and kept me up to date at all times. I would strongly recommend Hunters Worsley to friends and relatives in the future.
8th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)The flats I visited before moving in looked perfect, with brand new carpet and freshly painted walls. However, my experience after moving in was far from ideal. The boiler stopped working, and I had to endure almost a week without hot water or heating for me and my toddler. It was challenging to bear the cold weather without heating, and we had to rely on electric heaters to keep ourselves warm. In addition to the boiler issue, the kitchen boards were falling, which posed a safety hazard to my son. I reported this issue to the agent, and it took them over a week to fix it. The delay in fixing this issue was frustrating. At one point, the agent accused me of staying in the bathroom too long, causing the water to get cold. This confused me because it was just me and my son, and we only used the bathroom briefly. Despite explaining my situation to the agent, they did not take me seriously, and it felt like they thought I was making up the issue. After experiencing intermittent heating and hot water, a new boiler was installed, which seemed relief. However, a new issue with the pipes responsible for producing hot water arose, resulting in me heating the house but still taking cold showers in winter. Despite raising these concerns periodically, no one seemed to take them seriously, leading them to believe I was either fabricating problems or being dishonest. Furthermore, I reported a leak in the sink and an unstable toilet seat to the agent, but they did not believe my claims. After a week, they did send a plumber to fix the sink and toilet seat, but no one called me to inform me that they were coming. This was frustrating as I had to stay home and wait for them to finish. Overall, my experience with the flats was disappointing. It felt like the agent did not care about the tenants. Once I moved in, it seemed like they did not take my concerns seriously, and it was disheartening. I hope that in the future, the agents will prioritise the safety and well-being of their tenants.

From the first contact, to handing the keys over, Antony has been helpful, polite and friendly. Nothing has been too much trouble, he’s liased with all parties and been excellent at keeping in contact with updates regularly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hydes and particularly Antony again. Thank you.

Cancelled an appointment as I was dealing with a stroke patient and I had a massive leak in my ceiling and he turned up anyway; tried forcing his way into my property when I told him he wasn’t coming in as I’d cancelled the appointment prior to his arrival. In the end blocked all of your moves numbers and never felt so happy *Edit - reply to lisa* Hi Lisa, Lee works at your move Walkden Branch - I had all of my information removed from Your move as there was a breach of GDPR and head office took my information off the system with immediate effect. I was being rung off numerous numbers by the man stated above out of office hours whilst I was heavily pregnant- 11th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Excellent communications and explanations of each stage. The photographs and virtual tour of the property were exceptional the best ones out there where comparing to other agents. For Sale sign up immediately and supported very well with sale negotiation. Estimated value of property spot on. Sold within one weekm

Chantelle in particular kept the process flowing smoothly liaising with the various parties. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

4th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)This review is specifically for Christabel Hill, Property Relationship Manager at this branch. I deal with Christabel regularly as a tenant in long residence at one of the Thornley Properties. Dealing with admin relating to tenancy, which at the end of the day is a “home” is never an easy thing to do, it’s incredibly anxiety inducing and also daunting. Effectively Christabel is the go between of communication between myself and the landlord. I’m in a very personal situation of ill health at the moment, and Christabel has been nothing short of a diamond asset. In 20 years of dealing with letting agents, some are intrusive, rude and treat you as a commodity . Christabel is the first and leading lady who has been kind, personal and approachable, and I feel comfortable communicating with her all my personal circumstance and business. She’s efficient and quick moving. I would like this to wholeheartedly be recognised by management especially with my case individually. I’m willing for somebody to contact me should they require further endorsement of Christabel’s positive impact on my tenancy. I wish her all the best ongoing.
20th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)I had my house up for sale months with another estate agent who I have to say came recommended and they did nothing so I decided to change to sell well . It was the best decision I could have ever made . They were superb from start to finish and my house sold in no time . Its amazing how much difference the wording and pictures made in our advert . They were definately more efficient and I was kept informed of things right until completion . I can't praise them enough and I highly recommend them. Thanks for all your help guys .

They've been absolutely Amazing and kept us updated as much as they could, we're first time buyers and everything went super smooth, Zoe was absolutely fabulous and replied to emails almost instantly, cooke and company allowed us to view the property multiple times to get measurements and check different things within the house. I would 100 percent recommend them. ????

28th Mar 2024 (22 days ago)when you call to arrange a viewing, this estate agency has a tendency to say they are busy dealing with the vendor and they will call you back to arrange a viewing for you, and then you heard nothing, when you call back the other day, they said they have put you on the waiting list, and therefore you miss out the opportunity to view a property. this had happened to me twice, even their advertisement or video is just out and you call to arrange a viewing. when you explained to them about the situation, they will just say it's fully booked and ask you to xxxx off. next time when you hear they will call you back, do not trust that. arrange the viewing immediately or you will miss out the opportunity again.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
