28th May 2024 (8 mo. ago)House sold for £173k after original valuation was £215k due to market conditions. Had to contact the Office at times to try and get some action. We were forgotten about at times.

15th Oct 2024 (17 weeks ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.

9th Jan 2025 (5 weeks ago)Had the best experience with Gordon Brown. The staff are friendly, helpful and so welcoming nothing is too much for them. Definitely go the extra mile and keep your spirits up when something takes a bit longer than anticipated Good service and always with a smile Not sure the wonderful Sharon Harris manages to stay so calm and funny as she must be juggling all of the time. All the staff are brilliant though

From start to finish Karen and Andrew showed professionalism, expert local knowledge, flexibility, and were worth every penny. I’ve dealt with other local estate agents and they blow them out the water. I was able to trust Karen with being able to work on my best interest, and her advice from listing at the right price to get a quick sale, to her patience and ability to chase and help push to completion at the end was incredibly valuable. Would highly recommend over any other agent in the area.

I received feedback on viewings and I was kept up to date throughout the whole process of letting the property. The team are excellent and I would have no hesitation in using Ben Charles again in the future.

In the period up for sale with riverside residential we have had no contract from them with updates and no insights or statistics on people even checking the house out online we even had to contact agent to tell them it was not advertised properly on right move and have had no viewings got the impression they were not bothered about selling our house if it was not for having a for sale sign stuck outside the house would not even know the house was for sale We have now put the house up for sale with another agent

31st Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
20th May 2024 (8 mo. ago)BP Auctions have been anything BUT easy to work with. We’ve been chasing for updates on the sale of our property for weeks with no response. Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
