Well worth their slightly higher than average fees.

18th May 2023 (1 year ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

We are in the process of purchasing a house through them & even though we’re not directly using them as an estate agent they couldn’t be any more helpful. It has been quite a long process and Victoria stepped in and helped us get the enquiries sorted & everything pushed on when things were taking a while. We are now at the point of exchange/completion and should be in our new home very soon. If I ever want to sell my house in the future I would definitely come back & will be recommending them going forward. Thank you again to all of the staff as nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them! ????

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

Definitely go the extra mile and keep your spirits up when something takes a bit longer than anticipated Good service and always with a smile Not sure the wonderful Sharon Harris manages to stay so calm and funny as she must be juggling all of the time. All the staff are brilliant though

From start to finish Karen and Andrew showed professionalism, expert local knowledge, flexibility, and were worth every penny. I’ve dealt with other local estate agents and they blow them out the water. I was able to trust Karen with being able to work on my best interest, and her advice from listing at the right price to get a quick sale, to her patience and ability to chase and help push to completion at the end was incredibly valuable. Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.
12th May 2020 (4 years ago)Dan Capobasso was a great agent to work with. He worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for us. His advice was vital in allowing us to complete on our deal and I would not hesitate to recommend Dan to anyone.

31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

27th Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)Initially we had not planned to market until Spring; but then a property which we loved but which had sold, unexpectedly came back on the market. We approached Kirsty and explained the situation. As if by magic, she attended the very next day and managed to assess and value, take photos, do the write up, have it live on her website and even on Rightmove-all in the same day. We received an immediate offer (property unseen) and, with further viewings the next day and more viewings right up until best and final offer day, communication from Kirsty/Ailsa and team was always fantastic. We even had out of hours emails to keep us updated (I don't think those guys sleep!!!). We ultimately didn't get the house we'd wanted as the agent selling that property was terrible. The comparison between the two agents has only served to fuel our opinion of how good Kirsty Hodgson's team are. Thanks guys!!!! (A proper thank you will be forthcoming on completion).
7th Jan 2025 (11 weeks ago)Zero stars. I wrote my own sales brochure as they even struggled to do that. They undervalued my property and did little to get buyer interest. I did my viewings and found a buyer so their total contribution was zilch. They messed the sale up so I paid a withdrawal fee. The following Monday I listed with the brilliant Yopa but Signature relisted my house for £25k less just to cause trouble! I reported them to National Crime Agency as this is stealing personal information. We slapped a GDPR breach on the unprofessional time wasters. Zoopla and Rightmove helped me get their fake listing removed plus I arm-wrestled with Signatures 'MD'. The 'MD' is a flashy clown and the 'team' are morons. Leave well alone as they practice unethically and you'll only have problems and headaches. Yopa then showed me how it really should be done; six offers within the first four days and sold £35k over the asking price. Signature are worse than just a waste of time. Leave well alone.

We discussed loads of things I didn’t know about marketing our home, I felt really well informed and able to make sensible choices. Within an hour of the property being launched the first viewing was booked and we received an asking price offer within five days of the property being launched by YM. They also gave us loads of useful signposting to other services we required for the transaction. And they are incredibly warm and friendly to interact with. Couldn’t fault them and would highly recommend
