22nd Oct 2025 (19 days ago)Very disappointed with my selling experience with McEwan Fraser. I paid for the upgraded service and definitely did not feel this was value for money. I think all estate agents aren't very good, but I couldn't with a clean conscious suggest McEwan Fraser to anyone. It would often take at least 24hrs for someone to get back in touch with me (sometimes almost a week) and if I called after 6 then the only option was for them to ask someone to call me back the next day. This is one of the key selling points of their upgraded package and it was a total waste of money.

Jonathan arranged and carried out viewings efficiently, which helped ensure a fast sale. When my house went under offer, he continued to keep me updated and made sure everything moved forward smoothly. Even when the sale was delayed by a week due to the buyer’s solicitor, Jonathan went above and beyond to help get it completed. I’d highly recommend Jonathan and Westgate Estate Agents for anyone looking for a reliable, proactive, and genuinely helpful agent.
29th Oct 2025 (12 days ago)My experience with Walker Laird was very good. We gave them the keys for the house and they showed everyone round the property. Arranging all of the viewings themselves. The house sold within 2 weeks without any problems.

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. He’s been instrumental in helping us scale rapidly and is now managing a portfolio of 20 properties for us with complete professionalism. Lewis handles everything from tenant sourcing and compliance to ongoing maintenance and problem-solving, all with an incredible level of care and efficiency. What really sets him apart is his commitment - he genuinely treats each property as if it were his own. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he’s become a trusted partner (and friend) along the way. He knows this game inside out, and our tenants love him also. Our properties are kept in tip top condition 247, 365 days of the year, and from a business point of view, our rents drop into our account as and when they are received with no issues. Thank you, Lewis - we couldn’t have done it without you!
13th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

I started my house hunting journey with no idea where to start and they were amazing at helping me understand and advising me throughout the whole process. Colin and Sammy were so friendly and helpful, making the whole process pretty much stress free.10/10 would recommend!

I was very happy with the price I got which was quite a bit above what another agent said I would get. Get these guys to sell your property, you won’t be disappointed.
3rd Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)They were instructed in Feb and the sale (if it actually goes through) won't complete until Dec/Jan. I was contacted by at least 7 different people and each time they dropped the selling price by at least £5k but more often £15k. I was finally persuaded to sell to a cash buyer, but guess what, another lie.... Buyer will be getting a mortgage so not the 6 weeks completion but more likely 12 weeks. I don't think any of the Let Property representatives who I dealt with told me the truth. I deeply regret ever contacting them and would not advise anyone to use them.

She really got to know us and our property and took the time to advise us on the best way to present our house for marketing. She did all viewings herself, set aside a long time for them and tailored them to each potential buyer. She sold our house within two weeks of it going on the market. She even helped with last-minute packing and car-loading! Thank you so much, Nicola, for a first-rate service from beginning to end.
