22nd Apr 2025 (27 days ago)Recently exchanged on my Property with completion 7days from now…I only instructed Knight Frank in early January and anticipated period of the usual frustrations that go with ‘The Territory’ I was and am delighted that the stage I am at this early! Obviously you need The Property Gods to be in your Team and I feel that initially was the case however when turbulence occur as they Always do then the Professionalism of Agency is truly tested and in this regard KF we’re not found wanting! Their structure of Operation..the Personnel within that structure..Communication Skills…Proactive and Positive attitude..all in great supply when needed most.To Louise and her team at Exeter thank you..well done!!! A special thank you to Rachel Hancock out of Bristol who ‘Took on’ my House and in effect Nursed it from cradle to grave and drove forward any obstacle with great skill and determination. Sophie has, from the very beginning, been a very upbeat positive person and I had every confidence in her ability to sell the property. She was in contact at every point to keep us updated. Lisa was very efficient and worked very quickly to support us to ensure legal requirements were adhered to. Superb service!

27th Feb 2022 (3 years ago)Wish I could’ve bought through the local estate agent; Brunel Estate Agents. Ideal Homes epitomise a big company that know nothing about the property, the area or any legal requirements. They market properties with gardens that aren’t owned by the property, don’t bother advertising the parking at properties with parking in areas where parking is at a premium. When they accept your offer they wait weeks to actually send the memorandum of sale, then during the sale don’t bother to keep you up to date, chase the seller or update you on changes such as the seller pulling out! Total incompetence on every level. Wouldn’t buy or sell with them even if they paid me to.

18th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)Absolutely awful start to finish. Agent valued the property wrong, wouldn't answer emails, didn't pass on an offer, and messed up the paperwork almost costing the sale. Never experienced such a terrible agency in 30 years and having bought/sold dozens of properties

However, a genuine home buyer would NEVER try to renegotiate their formal offer based on cosmetic concerns. " This is exactly what they did so this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company!

We had previously viewed several places with Megan, Jemima or Polly, who were patient, helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They kept us informed of anything potentially suitable in the area, until we found the home we liked. During the buying period (4 months), all staff were quick to respond to any questions by email or phone. They liaised well between us, the seller & both sets of solicitors to keep the process going forward. Although a small firm, they are professional, efficient and hardworking. Their friendliness and personal attention made the whole process much less stressful... so thanks for your help, Scott and the team.
31st Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)In the middle of Lock down and Covid i was selling two properties and buying a new build. I've found the service and the communication to be exemplary. I was kept constantly informed of all progress. Jeremy himself helped me a great deal with various complications in the transaction that occurred with both the building of the new house and the legal side of the transaction. I have continued to seek advice on further property matters since and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone buying or selling. I certainly see them as 'trusted advisors'. Great service.

13th Dec 2021 (3 years ago)I have now tried calling this company now for 3 days, left a number of messages all you get is the answer phone. Was looking to buy. I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.

27th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)Mel behaviour is very unprofessional and bites back when you don’t want to make an offer on a property. Offered a previous survey that she stated was really good, after a 4 day delay waiting for it having to ask three times. The survey has about £40,000 of repairs. She states “I feel really sad for you that you lose out, never mind” I’m disgusted at the behaviour.
