2nd Apr 2024 (25 days ago)I have been dealing with the Ladies at Simms Williams in Walberton for nearly a year trying to buy the property of my dreams. Though out the whole stressful process, from the first viewing who was a Saturday girl and knew every little detail about the property to Louise who is the Sales Progressor, I was kept up to date at every stage of the purchase, was given good news and bad but after a year we finally got to the finish line and this would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the staff at Simms. I would most definitely recommend this Estate Agents. 5 Star Service.

Some estate agents can be very daunting and unhelpful, especially when looking for your first property! But she has made the process so easy and clear to understand and I can’t recommend them enough.

15th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Courtney Kent dealt very efficiently and promptly with the recovery of funds due to the dilapidations incurred by the outgoing tenants at my flat. This is often not an easy matter. It requires dealing with a lot of small issues and processes. An excellent example of good property management.
13th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been a tenant in an Hancock and Partners flat for 4 years now. In that time I have them and contractors enter the flat without the OK to do so. I have multiple late/missed appointments and inspections with no heads up of the cancellations - the latest cancellation happening because the staff members electric car wasn’t charged up. Building internal and external maintenance issues are hardly ever fixed, and if they are it takes an absolute age. And lastly, the staff are extremely rude and patronising. If you are looking to rent in Chichester and surrounding area, I urge you to stay away from this agency. As an example of how this company acts - our roof began to leak in the winter, with the water sparking the electrics in the ceiling, coming through the fire alarm fixtures and entering our property. Hancocks reply to our landlord regarding the situation was ‘tell them to stick a bucket under the leak and get on with it’. There has been numerous example of malpractice, but this is just one in a long line of them.

Following this they have let both flats at a great rent, after having open days on both flats. I recommend you get in touch with them if you have a flat or house you want to rent and have managed. Good luck, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Henry Adams is a shining beacon for their industry and they should be very proud of themselves. Honest, trustworthy and thoroughly decent people. Thank you all for your help with selling Mums bungalow and handling everything for us as we were conducting the sale from completely different parts of the country!

6th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. I would not hesitate to recommend.
