17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

If you need a team of people to be working overtime to get you’re house sold, and also to help with the process of it all going through as smoothly as possible as well, then simply look no further! Would definitely recommend! Cheers again!
26th Jun 2026 (2 days ago)Right from the start Sims Williams Walberton had our back. From the start when we met Sara Morgan, we were impressed with their straightforward, no nonsense approach to selling our house. The staff in the office were excellent in arranging viewings and letting us know how those viewings went. Once the property was sold we were served excellently by Louise Thompson-Dodd of the Progression Team with plenty of conversations and always available vie phone and email. Even when the first sale fell through we were able to re market straight and a new buyer found the next day to get us back on track. Right up to when contracts were exchanged Sims Williams were there to help with last minute hiccups. Cannot recommend Sims Williams highly enough, 5 stars is not enough!

A special mention must go to Julie Bramble, whose support made a real difference. Julie was consistently proactive, keeping me fully informed at every stage and ensuring I always understood the next steps. Her communication was clear and timely, and she balanced friendliness with absolute professionalism. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and her attention to detail gave me real confidence throughout the transaction. What stood out most was Julie’s ability to anticipate potential issues before they became problems, guiding the process smoothly and efficiently. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a personable approach, and it made the entire experience far less stressful than I expected.

They have always resolved tenancy and maintenance issues in a prompt and thorough manner, with good, open communication. I have felt very well supported. A 5 star service all round!

10th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I would highly recommend Amelia at King and Chasemore for Lettings. She recommended a property to us that was perfect, just what we had been looking for! She was knowledgeable at the veiwing & went above & belonged to get us a suitable move in date with our tight time scale. As well as being helpful & friendly and always replying promply to my emails, she would be the first person I would go to should I need her services in the future.
