2nd Apr 2024 (22 days ago)I have been dealing with the Ladies at Simms Williams in Walberton for nearly a year trying to buy the property of my dreams. Though out the whole stressful process, from the first viewing who was a Saturday girl and knew every little detail about the property to Louise who is the Sales Progressor, I was kept up to date at every stage of the purchase, was given good news and bad but after a year we finally got to the finish line and this would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the staff at Simms. I would most definitely recommend this Estate Agents. 5 Star Service.

16th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Thanks to the teams local connections we we had lots of viewings, even at a quiet time of year, which led to a quick sale agreed. Despite the usual hiccups in the conveyancing process, the team (special thanks to Simon here) helped greatly in keeping everything moving along, I know late shifts were put in and we really appreciated all the extra effort. It was our first time selling a house and we feel we were satisfied with the support provided in what can be a confusing process.

Some estate agents can be very daunting and unhelpful, especially when looking for your first property! But she has made the process so easy and clear to understand and I can’t recommend them enough.
13th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been a tenant in an Hancock and Partners flat for 4 years now. In that time I have them and contractors enter the flat without the OK to do so. I have multiple late/missed appointments and inspections with no heads up of the cancellations - the latest cancellation happening because the staff members electric car wasn’t charged up. Building internal and external maintenance issues are hardly ever fixed, and if they are it takes an absolute age. And lastly, the staff are extremely rude and patronising. If you are looking to rent in Chichester and surrounding area, I urge you to stay away from this agency. As an example of how this company acts - our roof began to leak in the winter, with the water sparking the electrics in the ceiling, coming through the fire alarm fixtures and entering our property. Hancocks reply to our landlord regarding the situation was ‘tell them to stick a bucket under the leak and get on with it’. There has been numerous example of malpractice, but this is just one in a long line of them.

3rd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)They offer competitive rates, very helpful & responsive about marketing, updated promptly after viewing, advice on offers were sound, they managed 4 post offer journeys involving difficult chain management. They are a great supportive and sympathetic team. Highly recommend Charles Peck for Sales and Lettings.

9th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)- Original listing price was too high, I could see that the Agent could not - Communication was hit and miss - Reactive with their marketing, only really made changes after being repeatedly chased by me. - We accepted an offer which fell through - These things happen however the Agent didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on with our buyers leading to our property being left off the market for 6 weeks needlessly, whilst assuring us the sale was safe. - Received a revised offer from our buyers, did not pass this on just rejected it on our behalf, nor were we informed that the buyer was dropping their offer by 20k - should have been a massive red flag - Lied to us on a number of times including saying we had refused delivery of a for sale board which we did not - Didnt seem to be interested in trying to push a sale, the attitude was 'the right people will come along'
17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

We were nervous about the rental market as we have had bad experiences with another estate agent from a different company. He was quick to update us on the process of the tenancy, knew all about the property and always so polite and happy to answer any worries or questions we had. I would highly recommend using Henry Adams and thank you Byron for all your help!!

6th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!

From the moment I walked into Pearsons on Cross Street, everything began to fall into place. Debbie, Nicki and Martha work as a team with professional efficiency and also personal attention to all the various steps along the way to completion. Before the end of March we got the keys to our new home! ! ! Thank you, ladies, for your helpfulness and friendly guidance throughout.

My sale was particularly protracted, but Strutt & Parker supported me every step of the way and ensured that the sale came to a successful conclusion, despite a number of setbacks caused by a related sale further up the chain. It was only the care and attention that Strutt & Parker took that ensured the sale kept on track. Wonderful service.

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. I would not hesitate to recommend.
