They went about the task quietly and efficiently and did the best job imo to find the ideal person to relove my humble abode of 26 yrs. Well done all involved?? 27th Nov 2024 (15 weeks ago)Staff are fab and really approachable. Have got everything done really quickly, we have bought and sold through them. Photos looked great & the people showing us around houses were really knowledgeable and approachable. Felt like they gave good advice when we were selling ours The only thing I’m not too keen on is their Securemove scheme where you pay £600 when your offer is accepted for the searches, which are subsequently duplicated by the solicitors, but not much you can do about it if you want to buy through them.

We were advised by a close friend who had used this estate agent recently and had highly recommended them to us to speak with them for advice. From the first moment on the phone speaking with Tariq we felt at ease and were happy for his clear explanation of what would happen throughout the sale process. Tariq, Eric, and Taylar were always welcoming and responded within the day any questions we had by either phone or email. Absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend anyone wishing to sell, purchase, or rent out there property to speak with these people. Simply perfect!!!

18th Mar 2024 (11 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

This sums them up-my year contract is nearly up so rang them to cancel-was told you cant cancel till your year is up (without incurring fees), fair enough you think but they wont accept the cancellation till your year anniversary then its 2 months from then till they let go of you. So its a 14 month contract, not 12 as stated. I dont know what other business brokers are like but avoid Kings.

13th Feb 2025 (30 days ago)Firstly, I should apologise for the delay in wring this review for Staves Estate Agents. We initially met with Matthew Staves when looking at the possibility of downsizing from a large house to a bungalow which Staves were acting for. We put in an acceptable bid and chose to use Staves to sell our existing property. From start to finish, nothing was too much for them and (not having moved house for over 35 years) we asked for a lot of help and got it on every occasion. The experience was not without drama but dealing with Staves made us feel like a part of their family and it was like dealing with a traditional local business where communication is easy and not a chore. We wish them every success in the future. The Daykins
