5th Oct 2024 (18 days ago)Had a great experience with Loretta at DM and knew straight away I would be listing with them. She is friendly, knowledgable, and took the time to get to know me and my situation. Their personal knowledge of the area and potential buyers meant that my house sold without going to market and after only one viewing! The team are very responsive to emails and calls and have answered many a stupid question from me. Would definitely use again.

Chose Franca thinking she would be good during the final (post offer but pre contract exchange) stage in the process, but it's someone else at Philip James that handles that side of things (who also seems good, but worth bearing in mind)!
28th Jun 2024 (17 weeks ago)I am badly disappointed by the unprofessional and negligent service I received from Reeds Rains Estate Agents Reddish as a first time buyer . After taking more than 5 months, i have nothing in my hands. My time and money spoiled due to unprofessional behaviours of staff. Never recommend anyone to use them. Totally disappointed

I am please to say that if you are looking for an agent that understands sales and buying behaviour and you need expert friendly patient and supportive help with selling your property you can find it at Murphy Waldron. I have used them on numerous occasions for various property matters and they have been that ideal in getting me past the nitty gritty sometimes difficult sometimes biased behaviour of buyer and tenants alike. An agent well worth working with just beautiful and perfect towards such outcomes

Unit 6 Hammond Court Hammond Avenue,Whitehill Industrial Estate,Stockport, SK4 1PQ(13 reviews)2nd Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)Been great for me, but I'm no moaning mini, little jobs get done by myself, any other issues are sorted in amicable time, Colin and Mike are great down to earth and any issues usually have replies within 24 hrs( fine with most normal people) landlord on the other hand is charging the "going rate" for a property that is not the standard but it's an ok area, it does need windows doing, damp sorting properly, carpets stained from previous leaks etc but again nothing major, and wpf deal with it all via landlord ???? Will definitely use wpf for all our future rents etc, Can't fault wpf , it's the landlords that take time deciding on any fixes or repairs, bear that in mind ????

24th Apr 2024 (5 mo. ago)I dealt mostly with Zee and did appreciate the 'balancing act' between myself and the homeowner. Although work did need doing to update the property and I made requests for this, it was ultimately understood that the owner would not commit funds for this. I felt that Zee considered both tenant and owner needs and advocated on my behalf to discuss fair or no rental increases. At the point of the homeowner selling the property, Zee was considerate with regard to mine and my daughter's wellbeing.
19th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.
14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks! Since then, Adam has continued to offer us advice and support and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him to anyone!

I chose them for this reason. I have been extremely satisfied with their performance and also my own thought process in picking EweMove to sell my property.

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
