8th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Carter Jonas Cambridge. I would strongly advise tenants to avoid renting through them.<br><br>In my experience, they use unclear tenancy rules to push extra rent and disputed charges onto tenants. My contract was originally fixed-term, but after legal changes they treated it as rolling and tried to charge me almost two extra months, even though I had contacted them in advance about moving out.<br><br>Even before I moved out, I experienced repeated unexpected charges and payment requests, including cleaning-related and other fees outside the deposit. It felt like once you rent through them, they keep finding ways to send invoices and make tenants pay more.<br><br>I was also once locked out of the property for three days without proper support, and there were occasions where access to the property was arranged or carried out without proper prior notice to me.<br><br>Overall, the whole experience was extremely stressful, unclear and unfair. I honestly regret renting through them and would not recommend them to any tenant. If you do rent through them, keep everything in writing, take photos/videos, and challenge every invoice or deduction.

22nd May 2026 (10 weeks ago)I would give this property management company zero stars if I could. Dealing with them has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. They ignored mine and my husbands emails for weeks, they never answered the phone, and somehow made every simple issue feel impossible to resolve. They took our deposit and then told us the landlord no longer wanted to give us the tenancy for no good reason. We had to wait 12 weeks for our deposit to be refunded. As soon as our tenancy contract was signed, their true colours showed. They were both rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested with our concerns. It honestly felt like once they had your money, they wanted nothing to do with you. Communication was awful, professionalism was nonexistent, and accountability was nowhere to be found. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you enjoy stress, disappointment, and wasting your time.

Aways available and all appointments kept with viewings and surveys. great advice and guidance given on the market value and what to market the house at. Plenty of viewing and sold the house quickly on both occasions due to the first offer withdrawing at the very last minute. Special thanks to Chris Tabner for the description and photos for the property and Natalie Jenkins for always being in contact and letting us know what was happening every step of the way. Thanks to all the staff at Edward Mellor Hazel Grove. Highly recommended.

24th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)Very disappointed with my experience. I was interested in a property they advertised and made several attempts to arrange a viewing. Over the last 2 months I called around 10 times, but every time I was given unclear information. On my last call, I was told the property had already been sold without anyone informing me earlier. In my experience, the staff were not honest and the communication was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this estate agent and suggest others be careful when dealing with them.

A recent sale was handled with commitment, energy and diligence. When last minute issues arose with the buyer's solicitor, Dan's personal interventions cut through the difficulties and ensured a timely completion.

We were looking downsize and found a property perfect for our situation. The estate agent who viewed the property with us on two separate occasions was very helpful, friendly and offered lots of useful of advice with regards to the property and its features. They put at ease any of our concerns and were open to any questions and had lots of useful suggestions. Would highly recommend this agent for their excellent service, friendly and welcoming approach and knowledgable. We have found our perfect home with their help and are so happy, thank you so much

Thanks for all of your help with my purchase, highly recommended!<br><br>Edit 2026: Sold my property now with A Wilson knowing how good they were to me as a buyer, as a seller they’ve been 10/10. My property was sold (twice!) within 24 hours of going live, amazing photos and just an excellent service overall. Highly recommend A Wilson and the team!
23rd Jul 2026 (5 days ago)John Woodhall came to value the property and was very friendly yet professional. Once we instructed him the wheels were set in motion. The photos were taken and the house put on the market within days of his visit . Communication was good with his office regarding the viewings. We were so pleased to get an offer with just being on the market for about 3 weeks. At the moment we are getting on with the sale and so far so good. I would definitely recommend Woodhalls estate agents, their service including the photographers has been amazing.

We were not just another house sale, Paul was supportive, informative, available even at night time when you may need answers Paul would reply. Thats rare, that's real service with a no problem is too much attitude. He made everything smooth. If your looking for a hands on estate agent who gives a proper service. Then I recommend this company. You will be in safe hands.

17th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.

From the beginning to the completion of the sale, she was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with.<br><br>She has excellent local knowledge of the Stockport property market and clearly knows how to present and market a home effectively. Thanks to her expertise, my house sold for 99.4% of the asking price, which I was extremely pleased with.<br><br>What impressed me most was that the entire process was handled remotely by email and telephone. I was based in West Oxfordshire while the property was in Stockport, yet I never had to travel there or deal with any unnecessary hassle. Everything was organised efficiently, communication was clear throughout, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.<br><br>I would highly recommend Jordana to anyone looking to sell a property in Stockport. Her local knowledge, professionalism, and commitment made the experience completely stress-free. Thank you again, Jordana!
