12th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Kat and her team were amazing! They kept me informed at every step and were incredibly knowledgeable for a first time seller! They sold the property in a matter for days for The price I wanted. I was thrilled at how quickly they wrapped everything up.
12th May 2024 (18 weeks ago)Murray & Currie are atrocious - we had rented with them for 4 years, having lived in two flats. In both, they had ignored us when we made them aware of plumbing issues (at one point disregarding months of constant follow-ups), which culminated in damage to our downstairs neighbours flats. Once again, in both instances, the neighbours had to contact our landlord themselves as the letting agents could not be bothered to do their job. Altogether, the caused thousands of pounds worth of damages and stress for everyone involved, including both us as the tenants and the landlords. This is the tip of the iceberg - I had paid rent in advance of my own volition at one flat, and they illegally kept it for months after I asked for it back (as I was moving). They also tried to charge us the full cost of a professional clean at move-out, despite the fact that we had paid for a professional cleaning using their own cleaning company upon the end of the tenancy. Honestly, there are no words. Truly I have never seen this level of incompetence. One flat managed by Murray and Currie and the entire neighbourhood ends up with a multi-year-long headache. You'd have better luck getting your property managed by a chimp.

However it is the communication that is excellent. Selling a house can be stressful but at every stage we received guidance, support and clarity. No hesitation in recommending them to you in the highest possible terms
28th Aug 2024 (21 days ago)Although I had several confirmations for the viewing, Isobel turned up 20 mins late for the viewing despite the offices being 3 mins drive from property and admitted that she was in the middle of having her lunch and also hadn't put the viewing in her diary. The property was lovely but it was such a rushed viewing that I wasn't even given the chance to see the allocated parking space or the garage. Even so, I was quite interested in the flat and even asked about when they would contact me about putting an offer in, and was informed that it would be straight after the current round of viewings. I didn't hear back them for a few days and as it was the bank holiday weekend I thought I would give them till the following week. I call on Tuesday and left a message which was ignored. I follow up with a call the following day and spoke to Isobel and was informed that the property is now sold and off the market. The excuse that was given was that she was on holiday and her colleagues should've contacted me. Very disappointing with the service, to not be given the chance to put an offer for a lovely property and be given excuses from an otherwise highly rated agents.

Was very honest and transparent. They did the very best they could with the current climate. Myself and my siblings are very grateful of a positive outcome. Thanks to Ian and Ollie and the team. Selling a house these days is less about getting noticed - Rightmove does that - it’s about the details that get the sale over the line, and Jonathan was on it from start to finish. Paired with Merrimans solicitors, you have a strong team in your corner.

29th Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to come off the market. We had very few viewings (1 between January and July and one the previous year.) The viewings seemed to be done very professionally and the staff always seem very professional. However, not sure why so few viewings, if it is the market, wrong evaluation of our house or whether agents could have been more proactive.
