17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

The services provided by Siobhan Macfadyen were excellent — very professional, prompt in responding to any queries, and accommodating whenever possible. I highly recommend this agency.

A special mention to Shari who has been wonderful to work with; being extremely personable, responsive, and a giver of good advice whilst selling our family home. Also, the marketing was very impressive; really don’t think it could be bettered. Jackson Stops really care; and it shows. Thank-you Team Jackson Stops!
27th Jun 2025 (20 weeks ago)Having met 2 other top line agents George came across as more knowledgable about our area, price achievable and potential buyers. We sold within a week. He then kept abreast of the transaction right up to exchange. I recommend Knight Frank to Hampshire sellers.

Lewis is friendly, professional and really couldn’t do enough to help me throughout every step of the process. I can’t speak highly enough of him and would thoroughly recommend Austin Hawk.

In 30 years of being a landlord I can truthfully say that Lynne and Chris are in a category of their own for their exceptionally high standard of work. They looked after my property to the highest level and always found a solution when one needed. I have no hesitation in recommending the Maintenance Department at Connells.

Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

The entire process was handled with professionalism and care, and we couldn’t have asked for more. A special mention to Stephanie and Gillian, who both went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service — always friendly, efficient, and quick to help with any questions. They made everything smooth and stress-free, which is rare and very much appreciated. We’d highly recommend Bryne Runciman to anyone looking to rent or buy in the area. Truly a five-star experience.

The entire team have been incredibly supportive and proactive throughout the entire process, especially when encountering unexpected difficulties along the way. Their knowledge of the local market has been invaluable, as has their professional yet extremely friendly advice. We would recommend them without hesitation.
22nd Apr 2024 (1 year ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall

I received regular updates on the progress of the sale, and my specific requests were responded to professionally and promptly. I would recommend Bournes to anyone looking for an estate agent that offers that little bit extra.
25th Feb 2025 (8 mo. ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

Dan quickly generated an amazing number of viewings and multiple offers, so many, in fact, that we soon stopped using multiple agents and relied entirely on him. After a few setbacks with buyers, Dan was undeterred and went right back to work with positivity and optimism. He secured a truly great offer for us and handheld the entire process brilliantly, all the way through to exchange. Dealing with Dan was an absolute pleasure; he is personable, incredibly astute, and makes what can be a stressful process feel straightforward. I would work with him again without hesitation.
