24th Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)I have to share the scoop on my recent run-in with Rolfe East. It was a rollercoaster, and I'm waving the red flag for anyone thinking about buying a property with them. So, we had this agent, Ash, all smiles during viewings, making us think we found our dream home. But it was just the beginning of their little game. They kept bugging us until we hit an offer that seemed to hook the landlord. Pumped us up, saying, "We are delighted that your offer has been accepted!" But guess what? Next day, they hit us with an email saying someone else threw in a bit more, and we're out. And get this – after all that drama, they had the audacity to ask for an extra 5k to seal the deal. When Ash mentioned many times that he dealt with the landlord in the past and was sure that just a much bigger offer would have made them change their mind! Long story short: Save yourself some time. They're playing games and messing with people's dreams. Save yourself the stress and find an agency that's not all about the shady business.

Ian was a great help from booking our first viewing to completing. He was quick to answer all questions and chased parties when required. We wouldn’t have been able to move so quickly without his help.

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)I know it is a tough market to sell with high rates, but the experience wasn’t great. We have been consistently pushed to lower our price, to a point it becomes really irritating. The buyers they found was not vet properly been told they already exchanged, pushed us take property off market then turn out they didn’t, and chain fell because our buyers’ buyers withdraw last minute. Wont recommend and won’t use them again.
30th Aug 2023 (10 mo. ago)We have used Mark Beaumont and his team for both renting our property (for two years) and for selling it (this year), and do not have a word of complaint for their work in either area. They have been friendly, honest, organised, on the ball and courteous at all times. 18th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)J-S performed their brief well. We adjusted the brochure to improve the image of our property. There were irregularities with the sale which did not achieve the asked price but the staff remained optimistic and helpful throughout the process.
4th Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)We had to liaise with them for a house sale in Bromley a couple of years ago and we found that Stuart wasn’t very flexible in terms of negotiating an exchange and completion date and instead of allowing both side to get to a compromise he took a n inflexible stance which obviously worked best for his clients, but not for everyone else involved in the process. We appreciate that he was acting on their behalf, but believe he could have adopted a more inclusive, fairer approach to make the process smoother for everyone.

The team are extremely professional, friendly and make what is a very stressful process easy and as pain free as possible. From doing a phenomenal job listing my property, to arranging the viewings and finally hand holding through the sale process, they are an excellent agency to deal with.

They have maintained my buildings and all the tenants get on well with them.
