We recently purchased a property through Hamptons Caterham, and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received, especially from Carrie. From the very start, she was a pleasure to deal with—professional yet real, striking that perfect balance of being approachable without trying too hard, which is something we really appreciated. Throughout the process, Carrie was always incredibly responsive, replying to emails on the same day and making an effort to call back promptly if she was unavailable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us, making the whole buying experience remarkably simple and stress-free. What stood out most was that our conversations felt genuine. I wasn’t just dealing with an estate agent—Carrie’s approach felt much more personal, which made the entire experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism, combined with a real personal touch, is what set Hamptons apart for us. 31st Mar 2025 (25 days ago)James spent an hour with us to discuss our options for the sale and he was very thorough and professional. He made cosmetic suggestions to improve the property before marketing and the photographs and the video we opted for were high quality. We had plenty of viewings before our buyer came along after 6 months on the market and things progressed pretty smoothly up until exchange and completion. Kelly and Chrissie were always on hand to set up viewings and show prospective buyers around. We are finally settled in our new home by the seaside, and are very thankful for all the help and advice we received.

11th Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)Buying and selling houses was a complete mystery to me when I started out. I met Amir Khajedehi when responding to an advert on Rightmove from his agency. From making the first appointment to view the property until exchange of contract, which happened this week, Amir has been professional, always helpful and always available at short notice to answer any queries. He built an excellent relationship with me and my solicitor, which smoothed a stressful process and made everything easier. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his agency to anyone starting on this journey.

Our viewing was carried out by Stuart and was the most relaxed and client-centred viewing we have ever had. Then following the acceptance of our offer Lucy took the reins and what could have been a very stressful process was made so much easier thanks to Lucy. She did the chasing, the phoning around and kept us at ease throughout. Thank you to everyone at Platform Property.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
9th Apr 2025 (16 days ago)We were the buyers and Luke was selling the property we bought. He was great throughout the buying process, despite a few hiccups along the way. He kept us informed throughout and got involved in prompting both our and the sellers solicitors when needed. He made the process a lot smoother and we had nearly weekly updates from him. When we sell in the future, we'll definitely be using G&H.

31st Jan 2025 (12 weeks ago)Contacted Eden Estates after download from GetAgent provided me with a list of local estate agents. I selected this agent as was happy with statistics of finding quick buyer turnarounds. A senior official (Jeff) arrived as arranged to my property, timely on the date and time previously arranged. He was shown a quick tour of the property, and provided me with a sales figure window, and this was accepted by myself, as it was close to the figure I had in mind. He also provided me with local history of selling in the area, and other useful information ie, sales patterns and offers from clients,local solicitors. He also informed me of their charges, which I believe to be competetive with other local agents. From his visit, he arranged for their nominated photographer to come in order to capture full measurements, detailed description of the property, and photos. This was done on the Saturday, and by the Monday, Geoff had arranged for a sales board to be erected outside, and the property displayed on their website and associated retail sites eg Zoopla Right move. During the first few days, I had many interested clients, and Geoff had arranged with me to provide a house key and present showings at agreed times between Eden estates and prospective clients. This was done, and useful feed back was given following the majority of viewings. A client has made an offer, which was initially rejected by myself, a counter offer was made, and an agreed purchase price was done with a purchaser. All throughout this quick process, I was kept informed of any updates. I would thoroughly recommend this agent, as they have successfully found a buyer for my property in just over a weeks duration, and feel that the service provided by ALL the staff in the branch was informative, polite, and useful. Note: The photography and description provided was second to none, and was to able to fully justify the layout of the rooms, informative descriptions etc.

24th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)STERLING AKROYD,, West Byfleet : From start to finish Sterling Akroyd were professional, knowledgeable & helpful. We started the process of putting the property on the market at the end of April & it was all wrapped up and completed by mid August. I used their West Byfleet office and dealt mostly with Dan/Daniel. He constantly kept me updated, he was constantly chasing solicitors for updates. I truly felt like I didn’t have to do anything myself - I was in capable hands. I’ve never felt less stressed selling a house! I can not recommend Dan at Sterling Akroyd at Byfleet enough. Amazing service all round!
