3rd Sep 2024 (7 weeks ago)Consummate Professionals with that human touch: Leanne and her team at Savills in Cranbrook were alongside us all the way in the sale of our house, offering personalised, calm and knowledgeable advice (& never pushy in their approach). We found everyone involved to be fantastic from start to finish, from Russell, Chloe, Katya (viewings were seamless) and Sarah who regularly picked up the baton. Leanne in particular, went above and beyond in seamlessly coordinating it all and our exchange process, always sensitive to our personal circumstances and timelines. We fully recommend them and would use them again. Thank you all!
11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)They sold a house to me with a few things missing, even though they had told me it was. For instance, they told me the loft was boarded. We get up into the loft and it’s not. Also, I clearly stated in my offer I would like the garden furniture to be included in the offer and yet this was not passed on and not left. They clearly need to up their game looking after all sides of each party very disappointed.

Sarah kept us informed at all times and was very patient as I was always ringing to chase the process along as we wanted to move very quickly. The process took just 9 weeks and we were extremely happy with the service we received from Sarah. Highly recommended.

They have emailed us countless listings within our budget and are always happy to show us around the properties. Danielle, our mortgage consultant, has been the greatest help of all!! She has explained things thoroughly to us and we were able to understand the process better as it can be very nerve-wrecking as first time buyers. She has assisted us every step of our journey by giving professional opinion and supplying us our needed documents when we need it. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!!
3rd Oct 2024 (20 days ago)Phillips & Stubbs just don't seem to have got the memo, the Covid bubble has well and truly burst in this area and properties are not worth what they were when Covid was around. Many people are moving back towards London these days. Trouble is, this agent doesn't seem to have realised this as their prices just don't reflect the true worth of properties in their area. As such, almost without exception, their properties are vastly over priced. My wife and I had considered buying in the area that this agent deals with but have subsequently bought elsewhere due to many agents in their area just not getting the message. I have noticed other agents in this area of the country doing the same thing, I've also noticed that the vast percentage of properties in the area are also hanging around like a bad smell. In a nutshell, over priced over valued. Avoid. MY RESPONSE TO PHILLIPS & STUBBS It would seem, judging by your somewhat surly response that I have rather touched a raw nerve! I wonder why!?.. You mention that the market dictates values and pricing however, I have seen MANY properties in your area that have been VASTLY over valued only to see the price reduced again and again. What is more, many of the properties that have been reduced are still sitting there gathering dust many months later. As I mentioned, Covid sent prices rocketing in this area however MUCH has changed since then but most agents in this area (yourselves included) have failed to notice or reflect this. Additionally, I fail to see how vendors are responsible for this "optimistic" pricing when most home owners have no idea what their homes are worth. What I suspect is happening is owner A is looking at owner B (who has probably been on the market at vastly inflated values for some time) and thinks, owner A's property is "valued" like 'this' so, so should mine. The proof of the pudding, and all that, is that buyers should assess how long a property has been marketed for before they deciding whether they are over valued or not!... I think they may come to the same conclusion as me. P.S. My wife and I actually bought a property in Surrey, so your assessment of, essentially saying, if you can't afford this area look elsewhere is frankly laughable. Oh, and, let's just say, we had a healthy budget. Please don't get delusions of grandeur, it's only Rye (a ridiculously, impossibly touristy area where at weekends you can hardly move for people), not Chelsea!

She provided excellent and consistent communication and ensure all parties were up to speed. Without Linda, the buying of our new home would have been even more stressful and she was key to making this a positive experience. The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.

5th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Exceptional Service. We recently purchased our property through Wards New Romney, the process like any other purchase was lengthy and challenging. However, Wards New Romney and the team were fully supportive, and helpful in assisting us, and in particular our allocated agent Jake was exceptional. Jake was friendly, helpful and fully onboard with completing our purchase from the get go. He assisted us most days with additional viewings, answering questions contacting our buyer and solicitor when needed and encouraging us at all times, to give us confidence all would be completed as suggested. We could not have asked for more. His relations with the other office staff and our purchase progressor made everything easier and more streamlined. We were also thoroughly pleased with his recommendation to use their recommended/linked solicitors (Martin Tolhurst), this hugely improved the communication and we could not recommend this service enough. Jake could not have done more for us, he was patient, kind, understanding and helpful; he gave us so much time and assistance to get our purchase and sale completed we could not have asked for more. If you want a helpful and supportive experience with clear communication and excellent customer service, you need to choose Wards New Romney!!

The team first advised then guided me all the way through the process of selling my property from advertising it through viewing and then managing the offers. Nothing was too much trouble so many thanks to Geoff, Andrew and Celia - she from the Folkestone branch! Thoroughly recommended!
