24th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.

From the start of the process to the sale of the house, the advice and communication was first class. The sale was dealt with sensitively and I cannot recommend the company enough.
23rd Aug 2024 (21 weeks ago)We have completed on the sale of our house today which has been sold via the Willenhall office of Paul Dubberley. From the first meeting with Keanu, who valued our property & gave us many hints & tips, the service we have received has been impeccable. I received text messages to confirm or cancel appointments & received calls with feedback from the viewers. I must particularly mention Shelby. She was always so ‘on the ball’ & would always get back to you, which is so important. She was always so polite & friendly & after a very stressful day for us yesterday, she sorted & confirmed that our exchange had taken place. Thank you Shelby. I would definitely recommend this company, Well done ????

From the outset, David was very courteous and helpful when he valued the property, and then Michelle and Jane inspired confidence and were a pleasure to deal with as they navigated the sale.

10th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)5* for Dana!???? We came across a property with Paul Carr that we fell in love with before we had even listed our own house! We didn’t have the greatest impression of Paul Carr to begin with (Not entirely this branch) but then we dealt with Dana and she turned our thoughts around. Dana was so helpful, and made the process go as smoothly as it could. Everyone knows buying and selling a property isn’t a smooth sailing journey but Dana answered all our questions, was really patient and was great to communicate with and you could tell she was so dedicated. We’re now living in our new home and I’m really glad we had Dana to help us along the way. Thank you Dana!

Their staff are in the same mould. There was always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to deal with our queries. We found their charge rates to be very competitive.

18th Aug 2020 (4 years ago)I’m not a person who writes reviews but Skitts have provided such a professional, high standard of service from the moment I picked up the phone for a quotation, I feel I must make the effort. Jane has been fantastic her communication is second to none, she always without fail called me when she said she would. Answered any questions in straight forward terms and always checked that I understood fully. She made me feel like a person not a number on a tick list. I was so pleased with the service I appointed Skitts to sell my Mothers house as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Skitts as I’d previously used another local Company who didn’t deliver anywhere near the service I have received selling both properties. I hope they never change from the personal service they offer it is heads above any Agency I have previously used.

18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

31st Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)I have been renting a house from this agency for 5 years, whenever i had some issues like boiler leak or boiler didn't work i had to wait for ages and call and email them multiple times even contacted the landlord because agency could not care less. I always paid rent on time and kept the house in great condition i even paint the walls myself several times. But suddenly they increased the rent from £800 to £1250 in wich moment i decided to move. I called them a month prior to give them notice and to make sure that they won't say i didn't i even emailed them the notice. When time camed to hand the keys I called to arrange the date, at that moment i was told that they never knew i was moving and when i told them about the phone call and email, i have been told that i had sent the email to a different department.
