4th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email. At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down. They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish? I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention. I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location. The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all. I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me. I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.

29th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)I have recently sold my house with Elite Residential and I can recommend their services to anyone. The two representatives Linda and Phil, were truly excellent. An Open day was arranged at the earliest opportunity, which turned out to be a Saturday. We had 10 viewers, which led to 3 offers, with one being accepted. Thereafter I was kept informed of what was going on, and the process went smoothly until completion which took just over 6 weeks. I was very happy with the service and would definitely use them again.

10th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Sale of our house and purchase of new house.<br><br>Good value for the services provided.<br>Stephen and his team are super friendly and very much able to call them with any issues. Picked up phone even 5 to 5pm. We were happy with sale (took 5 days on the market to have full asking price offer for our house). When council delayed entire transaction we were supported every step. No questions were silly, as we never sold a house before. Price for that kind of services is really good value for the money. Super happy with our new house that we also bought from them.

23rd Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Apparently they have a criteria to communicate back with you or not. After filling the application form for a rental house and sending your sensitive details and chasing them more than 4 times for couple of weeks expect no emails back. Waste of time, stay away.

22nd Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Carl Hemming – ‘Former Principal of Ginger Estate Agents’ ‘Your Local Property Agent Consultant at Martin & Co Solihull’<br><br>Our experience with Carl Hemming has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in significant financial loss, stress and emotional turmoil for our family.<br><br>We accepted an offer from Carl Hemming’s parents in November after being told the sale was “cast iron” and, based on that reassurance, we were encouraged to cancel further viewings. Unfortunately, seven months later the sale had still not progressed to exchange.<br><br>During this period we received regular assurances that matters were progressing and that exchange was imminent. Acting on those updates, we incurred substantial costs for surveys, legal fees and searches on the property we intended to purchase. In the end, the transaction failed, leaving us in a very difficult position.<br><br>It is our opinion that a genuinely independent estate agent would not have recommended accepting this offer in the circumstances, and certainly would have advised us to consider remarketing the property much earlier once it became clear that progress had stalled. We were left feeling that we had no independent guidance or realistic assessment of the situation.<br><br>We are also concerned about what we believe to be a potential conflict of interest arising from the relationship between the buyer and the estate agent, and we have submitted a formal complaint asking for this to be investigated. We are also seeking independent legal advice regarding the matter.<br><br>Perhaps most disappointing of all was the complete lack of any meaningful communication or apology after the sale collapsed. In our experience, both Carl Hemming and Martin & Co Solihull failed to provide the level of professionalism, transparency and customer care that we expected.<br><br>Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend not using Carl Hemming at all.
