29th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

Lisa Swinnerton and your staff at Howkins & Harrison at Atherstone were brilliant at explaining every step of the process and answered all my questions, no matter how small or complicated they were. I felt so supported and well looked after. Highly recommend!" It took less than a week to find a tenant too.

She got our sale over the line incredibly quickly and, most importantly, without any mishaps or unnecessary stress.<br>Having previously had two house purchases fall through, I was expecting the process to be difficult, but they completely changed my experience. Communication was excellent throughout and she kept everything moving.<br>Demi’s professionalism, efficiency, and dedication made all the difference.<br>Thanks to her hard work we completed far quicker than we ever expected. If you're looking for an estate agent who genuinely gets results and takes the stress out of moving, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Communication has been excellent throughout, and they've always been happy to answer any questions we've had and explain everything clearly. Karen has been friendly, positive and easy to deal with, while Richard has been really informative and taken the time to explain the mortgage process and our options in detail. It's made what could have been a stressful process feel much more straightforward. We're still part way through our purchase, but based on our experience so far we'd definitely recommend them.
24th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Having now worked with Alexanders across three separate property transactions, two sales and one purchase, I can confidently say they are one of the best estate agents we've dealt with.<br><br>Over the course of those transactions, I've had the pleasure of working with much of the team, including Harry, Emily, Anya, Stephanie and Hayden, and every one of them brought something different to the table. Whether it was sales progression, communication, negotiation or simply keeping everything moving, each person played an important part in making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed.<br><br>Communication was consistently excellent throughout. The team were always proactive, responsive and willing to go the extra mile to resolve issues quickly. Rather than simply passing messages between solicitors, they genuinely helped drive the transactions forward and kept everyone aligned.<br><br>A special mention goes to Harry, who has clearly built a fantastic team and a genuinely well-oiled operation. It's evident that there's a strong culture of professionalism, teamwork and customer service throughout the business, and that filters through every interaction.<br><br>Buying and selling property is rarely without its challenges, but Alexanders made the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future. Five stars.

Liars and thieves...<br>Rented a property from them that was in an appalling and dirty state, with mould growing all over the walls and a carpet that had never been cleaned in its 20yr lifetime, and bathroom tiles that were yellow with grime, and that was the tip of the iceberg, Yet they had listed all these things in their inventory as "Good Condition - Clean" (Inspection carried out by themselves of course) and it was simply not true... Had to pay a professional cleaner to bring the house into a livable standard at my own expense...<br><br>When it came to leaving the property, they demanded large cleaning bills claiming the property had been left dirty, which again - was not true... Property was left in a higher standard that passed to us.<br>It's clear all they do, is hand you a property and list everything as perfect, then when you leave list everything as imperfect and demand money for it.<br><br>Crooks, liars and thieves... Avoid being robbed by these agents.

Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

25th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

Having met with various estate agents before selecting R&L, they were the most open, honest and informative regarding the selling process who completely put me at ease and enabled me to trust their process as a first time seller. They booked in open days which were highly beneficial to both ourselves and to the potential buyers, using a wonderful local colleague who truly sold our house and the local area to a very high standard. They helped us sell our house within a few weeks being on the market, two open days and the more offers than we were expecting, all above our initial asking price. Most importantly for us was communication with ourselves and internally so everyone was on the same page, and both solicitors were kept in the loop too. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you team!
