Really efficient, always giving updates, always available on phone or email and happy to respond to queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. 29th May 2026 (22 days ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

I know Royston Lund as Mark Evans, whom I dealt with originally prior to his retirement. Royston Lund then took over the business and continued their excellent reputation, and also honoured Mark Evans original quotation. We mainly dealt with Sally but all of the team were equally attentive and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again should we come to sell. Thank you! Fiona and Luca

They provide periodic inspection reports with detailed photos, so any issues in the property are picked up early. Highly recommended.

As you know moving can be so stressful, but Demi always found a way to help everything move forward properly. Demi was so helpful and understanding, and she really brightened up my day with such a warm and delightful smile. Such a lovely young lady! I definitely would recommend, Demi was fantastic

He was friendly and informative and provided detailed information regarding the sale process and suggested asking price which led to Your move being approved by the family. Matt assumed main responsibility for pursuing the actual sale. Updates were provided at least on a weekly basis and suggested reviewing of the property valuation based on interest. Once a buyer was found Matt then took a proactive approach to ensure the sale went through as soon as possible despite some problems near to the completion date where he liaised with both sets of solicitors and kept me informed without the need for me to request further information. Thank you

The communication was regular and consistent, they were always available and helpful when needed. Our sale process was a breeze in comparison to our purchase. Emily got involved in chasing solicitors and the estate agent of the property we were purchasing to push things along, and it was definitely needed, the chain was managed end to end so we always knew what was going on and where the delays and sticking points were. Would recommend Alexanders and use them again for sure!
31st May 2026 (20 days ago)Hi everyone Very poor service. I would not recommend this agency. I rented a property through them and paid an advance deposit. When my payment was due to be returned, I had to send more than 20 emails and make over 100 phone calls before I finally received my money back after 6 months. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this agency. Please be very careful before dealing with them. Kind regards, Junaid Khan
11th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Actually very surprised with the service from wards having had a lot of issues with a previous agency I rented from, I had some draining issues with the property and the issue was sorted straight away. Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

25th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!
