We felt they were on our side and did everything they could to make a house purchase stress free. Shout out to Scott and Fiona specifically. We have originally with different solicitors and had a bad experience. Glad we have swapped to Connor Malcolm. Top marks.
19th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.

From the very first contact, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They guided us through every step of the process with clarity and confidence, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and well-managed. Their communication was excellent — we were kept informed at every stage, and no question ever felt too small. They clearly know the local market inside out and gave us fantastic advice that helped us achieve a great result in a short space of time. What really stood out was how personable and proactive the team were — they truly went above and beyond. You feel like you’re dealing with real people who genuinely want the best for you, not just ticking boxes. Their profound knowledge of the market and strategic application of various techniques ensured the attraction of suitable prospective buyers. 11th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.
5th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.
25th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold our flat through Coulters in 2026 and had a fantastic experience with the company, and everyone we engaged with in the valuation and selling teams. Coulters helped us get ready for the sale, arranging photography and sales brochures, which came out really well thanks to lots of guidance from their side. After we got our sales particulars ready, it took us a while to make the decision that we were ready to put our flat on the market, but Coulters put no pressure on us over that period of time, and instead continued to advise us and discuss our sales strategy, including when might be the optimal time to put our property on the market, so we can be in a position to buy a new property with a minimal chain/not having to rent in between. Our main contact at Coulters was Francesca Hill who supported us from the first time of reaching out to Coulters, up to the point of unpacking boxes in our new home. Francesca's advice throughout the whole process was truly invaluable, especially in the highly competitive property market in Edinburgh, and we appreciated how professional, experienced and constructive Francesca was. Selling/buying a new home is stressful, but doing it with someone like Francesca on the other end of a phone/email really makes a huge difference.

22nd May 2025 (1 year ago)Innes was most professional and knowledgeable, kept in great contact with the process and I felt very comfortable leaving the sale in his hands. The girls in the office were very helpful and a pleasure to speak with.

From start to finish, they have been absolutely amazing.<br>They have been constantly helpful, friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had.<br><br>They took the time to explain everything to me and made sure that I understood each step of the process, which was so reassuring as a first time buyer. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and they have made the whole experience less stressful and a lot easier.<br><br>I would 100% recommend anyone to get in touch with them for mortgage advice!<br><br>Thanks so much again to you both!
28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Me and my fiancée sold our flat with Revere. We initially picked a well known “premium” estate agent and had nothing but issues. It resulted in us looking for other options. We had heard good things about Revere and after talking to Craig we swapped over. Craig and his team sold our place within a month and we got a price we were very happy with. I cannot recommend Revere and especially, Craig enough. He went above and beyond for us and even helped negotiate offers when he was on holiday! We would not hesitate to use Revere again and if I could give more stars I would. Absolutely the best estate agents out there! 10/10

7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We were hoping for a quick sale but to not compromise on the value of the property in doing so.<br>REMAX and Carol in particular did not let us down. Everything was explained clearly from the start. Great advice was given in preparing the house for the market. Then Carol took on the viewings too, so we could head out and relax knowing it was in safe hands.<br>The property sold at a very fair price both for us as the vendors and for the couple and small family who will take up residence soon.<br>It was important for us that the home got a continued love and investment. After all we’d been in there for almost 20 years!<br>A fantastic experience working with REMAX Linlithgow and highly recommend them for both buying and selling your property.
