In the final stages of completing she was very helpful in getting it sorted, dealing with both solicitors and clients in a long chain of six! Always professional, kind and supportive throughout the process, with many phone calls and reassuring explanations. Our thanks especially to Heidi and all the team at Simon Blyth in Lindley who we would thoroughly recommend.
18th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !

7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I had a very frustrating experience dealing with Whitegates. After my contract ended and I had given proper notice, my property remained listed on Rightmove without my consent. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received little to no response, and promises of callbacks were not followed through. It felt like I was being ignored, and the property continued to be marketed even after I had clearly withdrawn instruction. I was also told a £250 termination fee was required, but this was only withdrawn after I challenged it and escalated the matter. Eventually, the issue was resolved, but only after significant effort on my part. Communication throughout was poor, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to carefully review the terms of agreement and be prepared to follow up persistently if issues arise. Unfortunately, I would not use this agent again.

Communication was clear and regular, they kept me up to date with everything via emails and phone calls which was really appreciated, every single person I spoke with in the office was always so friendly and informative, especially Fiona, Emmy, Kia, Phoebe and Jo and everyone else there are so many to mention! Thank you so much to everyone there! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to sell !!!

They went above and beyond to get the viewers in to look at the property and tried their best to advertise the house in the best way possible. Finally we have a buyer and its thanks to David and Freddie. Trust, honesty and straight talking is what you want and its what we got with them so thank you both again.

18th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Paisley Properties (Almondbury Office) were the Estate Agents who handled both the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new house. We would like to thank the staff who we dealt with regularly – James, Hazel, Amber-Rose and Andrew for making both processes go smoothly and with a minimum of stress (although there is always some). They were always friendly, professional and knowledgeable whenever we contacted them for help or advice. And when an issue arose with the house we were purchasing they gave us very helpful advice on finding good electricians and a moving/storage company that enabled us to continue the process with the minimum of fuss. Thank you all for making what can be a very stressful event in a persons’ life go as smoothly as possible.

Ava and all the staff made the entire process smooth, professional, and surprisingly straightforward. From the initial valuation to the final completion, their communication was excellent—always keeping me informed and responding quickly to any questions I had. Their knowledge of the market was clear, and their advice helped me secure a great offer in a timely manner. Thank you Ava & all of the staff for making a stressful time run so smoothly. Highly recommend.
2nd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Having recently moved house after choosing Butcher Residential to sell my home of the past 22 years - I can not say how amazing all the staff were, especially Mel and Holly. Always there when I needed them and were happy to give help, advice and plenty of emotional support when required!! They made a stressful situation seamless and I would not hesitate to use Butchers again.
18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

It took me a year to sell my apartment due to the long conveyancing process of selling leasehold apartments and a first buyer pulled out very close to the end of the process. But Claire and the team found two buyers in very quick succession and had the property taken off the market. They are very quick and attentive to the admin requirements when dealing with a property sale and also good at keeping you in the loop with chasing solicitors through the sale process. I have deal with a few estate agents over the last year but Claire and her team are by far the best.

When we went to collect the keys to our new house, we were delighted to receive a welcome hamper of prosecco and Yorkshire goodies.

Martin sold the property quickly and kept an eye on it as it was empty during the sales process. He took photos to show he had been into the property ( to satisfy Insurance company) and sorted out queries from the buyer. He helped to get the sale over the line when timelines were pressing. No hesitation in recommending his services.

26th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I’m not the kind of person to bother writing reviews, however, I feel that my experience with Home and Manor has been the best I’ve had to date and I’ve bought and sold quite a few houses over the years. From the very start of the process Kelly came out to value my property and I feel she got the valuation spot on but in addition to that she impressed me with her experience and drive. She convinced me that Home and Manor would provide a first class service. I managed to sell my property for asking price and throughout, I have been kept in the loop at every stage. From viewings to offers everything was kept stream lined with excellent communication from Alex, Amanda, Jack and Lexie. The sale progression has also been amazing with Laura Oldroyd, keeping me updated every week. Over all I think they are absolutely fantastic and would recommend to anyone.

They gave me two price estimates - to sell with and without improvements. Once on the market, Kaylee kept in touch and answered any questions I had.
