If you're consdiering this agency - as well as looking at those reviews, do ask yourself - if they cannot even be bothered to reply to any of these bad reviews, what are they going to be like if you give them your business? There are so many estate agencies out there, some of which are great, please do invest 10 minutes finding one...

26th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Do Not Try To Buy Any house With These Agents, we were purchasing a house in Weybridge through them (Holly cottage,Oatlands , after accepting our offer and agreeing the sale , our solicitor was processing everything , when without any notification to ours selves , They went ahead and put the property back on the market at 25,000 £ higher and then lied to us , that we had not even offered on it?!? Pure greed & dishonesty and I have never seen such an unprofessional agency do not use them !
28th Feb 2016 (10 years ago)I really like this place. I have been several times over the last few years and I have never had a bad experience. It's difficult to predict when it will be busy and whether you'd need to book a table - I've been on occasions when I'd expect it to be busy and it's been very quiet (and vice versa). The food is great, the staff are really friendly and it's reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)Archers Chepstow have not been transparent in their dealings with me as a buyer. I think they fail to understand that most agents factor into their valuations a knowledge of and the cost of remedial works required on the purchase of a property and represent these in the asking price, where this company expects the purchaser to discover - or not - critical defects on survey but not allow negotiations for these in an offer price put forward. You can argue they staunchly represent the seller with this stance to the buyers detriment? But without buyers who are treated with transparency and respect (note the sales negotiator) their clients will not sell and buyers pull out as in my case. We will go elsewhere as they’re many ethical transparent agencies and good properties out there.

Had offer within the first week of the house being on the market.- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

They have a fantastic team with a refreshingly positive approach to everything and certainly know how to sell a property, delivering clear concise sales messages supported by top quality videos and brochures, Other team members proactively monitor and support getting the sale through to exchange, something few agents do well. Based on my own recent experience therefore I would definitely recommended Hawksman.

20th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Robert Butterworth was excellent to deal with. Very kind, patient, honest and understanding. He went above and beyond to help sell the house with great efficiency given the complexities and circumstances behind the sale. Would highly recommend using Robert (and Jackson-Stops) as an estate agency and would use them again in future if ever looking to buy or sell again.
3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!
31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)It took a while in what was a rather depressed housing market, but House and Home delivered and found a buyer for our property. The property was a little off the beaten track and part of a managed estate, so it was very definitely a bit of a niche market.<br><br>Ian took on board our thoughts and ideas whilst expertly guiding us if they were a little unrealistic. With that he created a very impressive online brochure. Once sold, it was mainly Clare who kept us in the picture and endeavoured to make sure that all the other agents who were involved were on track. House and Home worked for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

It was therefore essential that I could rely on Fairmile Real Estate to handle the sale in an appropriate manner.
