7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.

9th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)First conversation we had with Elevation it was amazing, and as soon we signed the contract they were already talking about our house which made us have multiple viewings in less than a week!

14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)The photography was 5star and the online advert was very good. However the handling of viewings was varied with the different estate agents seeming to have different levels of skill about selling the house and it's location. Communication was poor. I had to call them repeatedly for updates even when they had said that someone would call me. All the staff from Connells were impeccably turned out and very polite and friendly.

He is very knowledgeable and has guided us through the process , keeping us informed at every stage which has been much appreciated. We look forward to hopefully completing on the sale and moving to our new home . Debbie and Anne Bidwell .

27th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)Sanj at Avenues was professional, timely, knowledgable & attentive to the market. He went above and beyond at no extra charge. We were living abroad when selling and he kept an eye on the property for us to cover our insurance requirements and responded positively to other requests we made. He was very quick to respond to emails and follow up queries or chase solicitors for us. He helped us achieve the price we were looking for very quickly, and guided us through the process seamlessly. Fabulous service all round.

2nd Oct 2026 (30 days ago)One of if not the best Estate Agent we’ve ever dealt with. Ivor was superb throughout the process, supportive, communicative and very thorough. We never once had to chase for updates which is rare in our experience of dealing with Agents. He would often go out of his way to obtain updates from all parties in the chain, pre-empting the next step and ensuring everyone was doing all they could to expedite things. If only all estate agents were as proactive and committed, the sale and purchase process would be far less stressful! We can’t thank him enough for all his support and would whole heartedly recommend him and his firm to anyone in need of such services.

29th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Initial interactions were good - first visit, advertising and finding a tenant. Day to day management has been appalling - long response times, bad attitude, rude, inefficient (staff don't know what other staff are doing), have caused problems by promising things to my tenant and then refusing to follow through, not impressed with their service for repairs - told me they had trades people they regularly use but provided very expensive quotes so I ended up having to employ my own trades people to undertake any work. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Avoid!

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

4th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)This was a terrible experience. I was promised it all and receive nothing. I was told there will be bespoke marketing but I just got a right move and Zoopla add and one social media post. No video even though we suggested it. When the property went on Rightmove there was a “glitch” and the exterior photos were not showing. Nor the floor plan or sizes. After almost a week this got fixed. But the ad wasn’t reset. In less than 2 weeks we were recommended to reduce the price based on a property that sold 2 years ago which was over 1,000 sqf smaller. I was told the agreement was 12 weeks but he had noted 20 weeks and never left me a copy of the agreement. When I gave notice suddenly we had interested parties. I had a toddler and 2 indoor cats and 5,000 sqf to tidy up but he always gave me less than 24hrs notice. Communication was almost like non existence. We would have paid him around 26k yet we had an office number and email to communicate with him. Emails took days office number almost never replied. He was always negative about everything. He then bought on a colleague who was a little more active but still the whole experience was stressful and just dragged. We switched agents and even before the ad went live we had a viewing. Definitely not one I will recommend.
