23rd Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Not too impressed We had a number of viewings but never had any feedback from Bidwells. As far as I can tell they also did not follow up on the potential buyers. Not overly impressed. We have now taken the house of the market and will relist with another agent.

Selling a property can be stressful, but Peter made the entire process smooth, straightforward, and even enjoyable. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble — he consistently went above and beyond at every stage. Whether it was keeping me updated, answering questions quickly, or handling unexpected challenges with total confidence, he exceeded every expectation I had. What really stood out was his dedication and work ethic. He didn’t just do his job — he truly cared about getting the best possible outcome for me. I can genuinely say he is light years ahead of any other estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and exceptional at what they do, Peter is the one. 15th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)I used to have some past experiences that weren't great but with the most recent team at sharman quinney, I have been looked after a lot better. Although I had to pull out of the sale of my property, Maria and Spencer definitely went above and beyond to answer my questions and sort anything that I didn't understand , which was a lot. I always felt welcome when I went into the branch, offered an instant sit down chat and a coffee. Hopefully I'll be in a better position in the future to complete a property through the Great Shelford branch.

27th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Michael Graham have gone above and beyond in helping our family find a new home, and sell our home.<br><br>They sold our house to us originally so we went back to them when we wanted to sell and move.<br><br>Phil, Liz, Pam, Jaqs, Caroline, Daniel - everyone we dealt with at the Hitchin office were very professional, honest, knowledgeable, responsive and always lovely to deal with.<br><br>It’s been a long journey for us trying to sell our house, with the backdrop of a turbulent economy and booming house prices in Hitchin, but they stuck with us, and remained patient, even when we weren’t! We never felt like we were being sold to, and always felt as though the service and advice we were given was personal and specific to us.<br><br>Phil and Liz provided us with a lot of extra market information, beyond what they needed to, in a very consultative way.<br><br>Daniel, Pam and Jaqs were excellent at showing people round our house, always arriving early for the appointments and really taking the time to know all the small facts about the house so they could give the best viewings. Caroline was brilliant at keeping the sale transaction moving along, letting nothing sit still for too long.<br><br>I can’t recommend Phil and his team enough, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

It started with Will made amazing pictures of our property, marketed it well, priced it at the right price and process (although not smooth as it never is) was helped by the team there. Every question big or small answered, easy to get hold, very professional. I would use them again if we ever sell again.

They were both friendly, professional and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made everything really easy and stress-free. 19th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Awful experience. Lack of communication, lying to prospective buyers. Late and unprofessional with viewings, staged false viewings, just couldn’t be bothered. As for professional standards, brochure was a disaster of poor photos, false information, website never updated and a contract which equated to a scribbled mess if I’m honest. Altogether a dreadful experience that cost us both in time and financially. They admitted truth but no apology. Wish we had never trusted them. Maybe they have become too complacent and need to retire. We got great advice about our potential buyers and situations so we could accept the best overall offer for us. Alex kept us informed throughout the whole process and we wouldn’t hesitate to sell through them again and recommend others to use them.

Communication was fantastic throughout, and whenever we had a question, we were able to get answers straight away without any chasing or delays.<br><br>We had two house sales and the purchase of our new home all to get over the line, which was no small task, but the team went above and beyond to help make it happen. They were proactive, supportive and clearly committed to getting everything across the finish line for us.<br><br>Moving house can be incredibly stressful, especially when there are multiple transactions involved, but they made us feel supported every step of the way. Their professionalism, communication and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out.<br><br>We would highly recommend Rafferty and Pickard to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

22nd Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)We sounded like an easy customer: three bedroom house, nice garden, granny annex in highly sought-after location, on the market for the first time in 80 years. Fast-Forward three months and to everyone's horror, the house was built in 1909 using a method that no mortgage-lender would sell on. That would have been the cue for most estate agents to drop the client. Pottrill Holland stuck with us - suggesting transitioning to an auction, and staying with us through the entire process. Absolute integrity and commitment, we owe them everything.
