3rd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We sold our apartment recently via Sample Mills, they were brilliant! All the staff were professional and great to deal with. There were some technical issues on our part because we overseas throughout the sale of the property, the team were 100% helpful in resolving these issues. We highly recommend Sample Mills.
22nd Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Howard, Lisa and the team at Howard Douglas were efficient, friendly and client focused at all times, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

24th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Its a difficult market for selling. Properties are listed in abundance with valuations perhaps starting too high. Buyers are few and far between which meant that we had only 4 viewings over the same number of months. Every viewing is therefore critical and needs your agent to be fully appraised of features and any questions answered. Initial valuations versus actual market sale price need to be considered carefully.- 9th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)Perfect experience highly recommended
25th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)An excellent experience… from start to finish…
Entrusting our sale with Luscombe Maye was a good choice!
Thank you to the wonderful LM team in South Brent

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently sold my house through Stags Totnes Office and highly recommend them. Thank you to Robin, Mike, and Imogen for your very professional service, expert advice, and excellent communication. They not only sold the property quickly but also achieved a much higher asking price than I expected.
28th Sep 2021 (5 years ago)We have been very impressed by the professionalism and high quality service from all of the Totnes team, thank you. Even allowing for the fact that its a sellers market, Marchant staff have been scrupulous in providing consistently first class service.

1st Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)We recently sold our property through Rendells in Totnes, and the service we received from start to finish was outstanding. Cameron, the Branch Manager, was fantastic from the very first valuation. He was professional, knowledgeable and approachable, taking the time to explain the current market, the marketing strategy and how best to achieve the strongest possible result. We felt confident in his advice from day one and never felt under any pressure. Once the property was on the market, Catherine and Debbie were absolutely brilliant. They kept us updated throughout the entire process, handled viewings and negotiations professionally, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale progressing. Their communication was excellent, and they were always on hand to answer any questions and provide reassurance whenever needed. The whole team at Rendells Totnes made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. Their professionalism, local knowledge and genuine care for their clients really stood out. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cameron, Catherine, Debbie and the entire Rendells Totnes team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you all for your hard work and excellent service.Rendells - Newton Abbot

8th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Rendells Lettings in newton abbot.

We expressed serious interest in a rental property in early May, provided documents immediately, travelled down from Oxfordshire to see if we could view the house, followed up multiple times by email and phone, and even visited the office in person (told them it was an 8 hour drive for us). After which we got not one call or email from the person who runs the lettings dept. Throughout the process we were repeatedly told that the landlord would “come back with further instructions,” but after more than a month we still received no proper update or clear answer.

And also they told us that they get so many applications they just don’t care and will not respond to anything. They refuse to do online viewings (which all the other agencies are willing to do), don't respond to applications (after you have filled out given them your life on paper basically). Complete limbo.

Meanwhile, the property remained advertised online the entire time!

What made the experience frustrating was not necessarily losing out on the property, but the complete lack of communication and basic courtesy. Calls and emails went unanswered, timelines were unclear, and we were left unable to plan our own housing situation despite explaining that notice had to be given on our current tenancy.

Other agencies we dealt with in Devon were far more professional, responsive, and respectful.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Rendells Lettings, other agencies in Devon are far far better and I can’t recommend them enough, Rendells lettings in newton abbot was in 25 years of renting through agencies the very worst experience i have ever had, take my advice and don’t do it
13th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Rude They changed my property price daily without my permission. They lower price to less than what i pay for it, Then they put the price 10 times higher than what I pay for it. This is bulling tactic
